What a lovely park! I've lived near here for 30 years and am embarassed to say that today was my first visit. I was investigating the hiking trails for a group event later this month. I found the trails (woodland roads, really) to be very well maintained and quite wide. Very comfortable for hiking with our year-round tick concerns. The trails are interconnected in a network that allows you to hike a decent distance, even though the park is rather small. I suggest you download the map from the website or snap a pic of the large map in the parking lot before you head into the woods. Most trail intersections are marked with numbered posts that are easily found on the map, even if the trail signage is missing (which it is on some posts). You won't get lost - civilization is all around you! They also have a Monarch Butterfly facility, a delightful bench structure for a family or small group chat, a picnic pavilion and a couple ponds. I'm very impressed and look forward to many...

This is an absolutely beautiful little park with great walking trails! Fantastic place for photography or a wedding. It give rustic vibes and a forest nature. A couple of weeks back, I took a friend here. As I was walking to the butterfly garden a woman in a car mentioned the butterfly room was open. There was a woman by the door. I asked if we could enter and she obliged. She was teaching us the different stages of a butterfly. Then explained they help the population as a very small percentage make it in the wild. Where they have a much higher chance as they were there. She told me they were going to be releasing them soon. We talked some more, then she decided to ask us if we wanted to release the two that were ready...I released a butterfly 🦋 ❤️ it was really awesome!! Definitely an experience...

Such a beautiful and well maintained park with awesome hiking trails. I wonder if there is a way to contact the people who maintain to let them know that the ticks are really bad. While we were there today I brushed 2 off of me and when we got home I pulled 2 off of my side that were attached. It's so well maintained that maybe if they were aware that the issue exists, they could spray the area. Not sure if that's even possible. Lol. We love it there but the...

This is a great place to go when you have nothing to do. There is a butterfly house which they release butterflies in September and let you hold them and feed them. I went with my grandchildren and we went on a walk where I read a story to them while on the trail. Cute illustrations and A cute story told. Learning and exploring is fun for them They do have swings and a little house you go in to look at all the animals and insects that exist in Pennsylvania.

Perfect park for families, exercise , fishing, pic nicking, bird watching. There’s even a swing set and a porta John. Nice walking paths and trails for all ages. There’s a place for the kids to do a craft while you sit and take a break. This is sponsored by the beaver county library system. It’s definitely a place to try and visit.h
