I’ve been working with my trainer Megan at CFF for over a year now and it has changed my life in so many ways. I have rheumatoid arthritis and was seeking a trainer who could help me exercise and gain strength in my joints in a way that was challenging but gentle/prevented injury. Megan is just that trainer! She tailors exercises to my specific needs and goals, constantly checks in on me to assess how I’m feeling and if I need more or less weight that day, and is always there to cheer me on! Before I met Megan and the CFF family, I was struggling with painful flare ups in my knees and shoulders and didn’t feel very positive in my future fitness abilities. This last year that I have worked with them once a week, I have been flare up free, can now get up off the floor without using my hands (major for me!!), and even ran a 5k which has previously seemed so impossible to me. Read moreI have been training at CFF for about two years now. I started with a runner's strength class taught by Lynda Spurling and then added personal training sessions to my week. I have bought into and left more gym memberships than I can count. I very rarely miss a workout now. What stands out with CFF is how they care for me and all their clients. Lynda wanted to know my goals, my challenges and what I was committed to. That's what we work towards, MY goals. She holds me accountable! And it's not just Lynda, it is the entire team at CFF! They know you at CFF; they care about you; you become family there. You are known by your name. You have an entire team of people who are cheering you on to reach your goals, whatever they are. Don't get me wrong, it's work, but Lynda makes it fun, they all do. It's their culture. They're not just people sitting at some desk punching your 'hall pass' so you can get in. Read moreI truly cannot say enough good things about the Goodpasters and their team at CFF. I was referred here by someone close to me when I was 300 lbs and looking to change my life. CFF did exactly that for me. I was welcomed without judgement and have felt so much love and support from everyone. Workouts are customized to fit your needs and goals and from working out here for about a year i’ve noticed everyone’s workout is a bit (or very) different which I love! Fitness isn’t a one size fits all activity and they know this. I am now 143 lbs down and I can say that CFF helped save my life.
