I recently stumbled upon a Mexican restaurant in Cincinnati that has quickly become my absolute favorite! From the moment I entered, I was enchanted by the captivating interior design. The street-style graffiti paint adds a vibrant and authentic touch, while the intricate details, such as the patterned tables, showcase the thoughtfulness put into every aspect of the decor.

While the weather was scorching outside, I opted for the cool comfort of the indoor seating area, although I couldn't help but admire the inviting terrace which I plan to explore on a more temperate day.

Now, let's dive into the culinary experience! We decided to try a bowl and a taco, and I must say, they were simply amazing! The taco was a true revelation, bursting with incredible flavors. The combination of soft and crispy taco shells created a delightful textural contrast that enhanced every bite. What impressed me the most was the ingenuity behind ensuring the taco held together without falling apart. It was executed flawlessly, showcasing the skill of the kitchen staff.

In addition to their outstanding food, the restaurant boasts a fully stocked bar and an enticing cocktail menu. Although I didn't have the opportunity to sample their libations this time, I am already looking forward to returning to indulge in their creative concoctions.

I can't emphasize enough how much this Mexican restaurant deserves a spot at the top of your dining list. The inviting ambiance, exceptional food, and warm and attentive service combine to create an unforgettable experience. Our waiter was incredible! Not only did he provide attentive and friendly service, but he also shared a valuable tip with us. He recommended going for two tacos to feel fully satisfied. Following his advice, we ordered two tacos and one bowl for the two of us, and it turned out to be the perfect portion size.

This restaurant epitomizes authentic Mexican cuisine in Cincinnati, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. Edit to update current experience: Kudos to the management and staff at this location! The ordering system has been significantly improved since I made my first review. We can now place our huge and individually customized orders online with ease, and since they even put everyone's name on each order, it makes distributing them here at work a breeze. As the one who has to order, pick up and distribute everyone's lunches, I could not be happier with the current experience, and everyone loves their food. Keep up the excellent work!

Original review: Terrible customer service. We make frequent large lunch orders at my work, and some people's orders cannot be accommodated through their online ordering system. They refused to take our order over the phone and insisted that we come in and order at the bar, then wait for the order to be filled. We brought in a typed sheet with everyone's order and the person at the bar then said it would take some time to transfer our order to their special "order sheets". Why that could not be done over the phone is a complete mystery to me. It was taking so long that we left and had to come back to pick up the order. We order lunch at work to save people time, not waste it. If you don't want our business, congratulations! Mission Accomplished! I will not eat here even on my personal time anymore. There are too many other dining options in the area to choose from to come to a place that does not value...

They opened up the day before I went and I was super impressed by how smooth everything went. You notice all the Art first and it is incredible! It’s a mix of cartoony and fun. It really helped you understand the whole vibe of the place. I got queso, 1 tacos, and margs.

Do yourself a favor and get the prickly pear! I got that and blackberry, which was really good and tart/sweet, but the pear was so balanced. It was sweet and delicate and amazing. I can’t speak highly enough of it. Bring friends, go for the pitcher, have a great time.

I got a chicken taco and the pulled pork. One with the Ju ju shell and the other with the spicy hard shell. Again, amazing. The spicy hard shell was 108x better than the Doritos locos taco without a doubt. The dirty sauce is crazy good and the right amount of spice. What I’ve learned is that you can pick anything and it will work. The kitchen got the meat mixed up for mine and a friend’s taco, but they still worked. It’s a 2nd day hiccup and it all worked out.

Overall, the place is amazing. The food is amazing. The service was so close to amazing. I even took a pic of the bathrooms because of how cool (and clean) they were. Get over here! You can put your name in and they’ll text you when you’re table is ready so it’s super convenient. Stop reading and go get some...
