Omg guys, it was terrible. We were sat late for our reservation (by 30 mins). The host said a few people had called off that night so they were running behind. We sat without waters or a greet for 30 MORE MINUTES. I'm not exaggerating. Many staff members walked by our group and looked at us and no one stopped to ask if we had been helped. We tried the ipads that blink on the table to alert someone we needed help and no one came. My friend got up to try to find a staff member or manager and couldn't find one. Finally the host came back over and apologized and said she would get our drinks and salads started and our server would be over. She said he didn't know we were his table. (Meanwhile he's one of the people who have walked by multiple times not stopping to help). The kind host brings our waters and salads and stuff out a bit later (like 10ish mins). Together they drop of our alcoholic drinks (say 15 mins after ordering). Not until we are completely done eating the first course does the server stop by to introduce himself and take our orders. Food comes out and two of the orders are incorrect, one of my friends eats hers as is, the other has to be remade because it had shrimp on it and she had just ordered veggies. We sit with our dirty plates in front of us after finishing eating for over 20 mins. My friend goes to the restroom and passes our server who is sitting in a booth on his phone. He comes back over to clear and bring boxes. We ask for our checks. It takes 4 different tries to split the checks correctly, even after I volunteered to write down what I had. Overall it took over 3.5 hours for us to come and go. No manager visit. No manager presence. No apology. No comp. Only a mumbled apology for the wait from the server. The only person who cared was the host. Im not entirely upset at the server to be honest, it seemed like he was behind in the beginning. He basically needed to close out all the tables around us in order to be able to start taking care of us. I AM super upset at the management that had no idea what was going on inside their restaurant for a...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at the Olive Garden in Oakley, Cincinnati, Ohio, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere. The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the zuppa soup, which I can confidently say was the best I've ever had at an Olive Garden.
The zuppa soup was a perfect blend of flavors, with tender potatoes, savory sausage, and just the right amount of creaminess. Each spoonful was a comforting delight that left me wanting more. The soup alone is reason enough to visit this particular Olive Garden location.
To accompany my meal, I decided to try a rum punch drink made special by Chris, my bartender and waiter. I must commend Chris for his excellent service and mixology skills. The rum punch was a refreshing and tropical concoction that perfectly complemented the flavors of my meal. Chris was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making my dining experience all the more enjoyable. His expertise as both a bartender and a waiter truly stood out.
The overall ambiance of the restaurant was inviting and comfortable, with a charming Italian-inspired decor. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring that my needs were met throughout my visit. The menu had a wide variety of options to choose from, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences.
If you find yourself in Oakley, Cincinnati, I highly recommend visiting the Olive Garden for a memorable dining experience. Don't miss out on the zuppa soup, as it truly is a standout dish. And if you're lucky enough to have Chris as your bartender and waiter, you're in for a treat. His expertise and friendly demeanor will elevate your dining experience to another level.

Read moreWe were greeted and seated quickly and service did begin promptly. The restaurant appeared clean and our server looked well put together, as did other staff. The only kind of issue seemed to be that our server wasn't having the best day and was a little short with us. He would nearly toss our plates and drinks on the table with a loud thud. This happened with all the tables he was serving around us. He was quick and accurate with his service though, so I didn't mind a little extra salt with my dinner.
Parking is awkward as I have included in my notes below with a very detailed description if that interests u.
We went for dinner and the place was reasonably busy and still had no wait time. Our food was served hot and fresh and tasted great, as expected.
Everything was spaced far enough apart that having a mobility device or small children in a car seat wouldn't be an issue getting around inside.
The restrooms weren't well marked being tucked back into a corner with signs only being on the door. Once in the restroom it seemed clean and well stocked.
We were able to pay our check at the table from the little tablet they have with no issues. We did not however get any of the tasty little chocolates as we were leaving, which is something we look forward to. No explanation from our server about that, and there was no basket at the host stand to grab any upon our exit, which is something I know some locations do instead. Not sure if that's typical for this location or if they were just out of stock.
All in all, would...
