Roseland Waterpark used to be a great, family-friendly community waterpark. Unfortunately, it’s really gone downhill. Seems like they opened late this year and their website and Facebook page are rarely up to date to know when the season starts. Anyway, this park is small to begin with and now it feels like it hasn’t seen meaningful updates in years (besides the new mini golf which I didn't know about until a few minutes ago, we didn't get to experience it this year). Everything just feels a bit worn out and outdated. Admission prices have gone up, but the experience hasn’t improved to match. For what they’re charging now, you could drive 30-40 minutes further to Rochester and get a much more enjoyable waterpark/amusement park experience for just a few dollars more. Another big issue is the strict "no food or drink" policy. Not even small snacks for toddlers are allowed, and they don’t offer many toddler-friendly options to buy inside. You're basically forced to either pay inflated prices (like $3.50 for a bottle of water) or walk back to your car, which is what we ended up doing with our cooler in the parking lot. Staffing continues to be a problem as well. Attractions are often closed due to lack of staff, and they don’t offer any kind of discount or compensation when that happens even though it really limits your visit. With only about five main attractions, having even one closed makes a noticeable difference. We bought season passes this year, but after one disappointing visit we never went back. Total waste of money. It’s a shame, because this place used to have so much potential. Unless major changes are made, I can’t...
Read moreAwesome family water park. Roseland is just the right size, not too large, but plenty for people of all ages. It is very nicely maintained. The parking lot is large. There are lots of trees and greenery in the park which helps to create shade and makes the park a pleasant place to be. The staff is all very friendly and attentive. We were greated with hellos and smiles at the gate. The park opened exactly at 11am, and most of the attractions were running. The lazy river was scheduled to open later, but a very visible sign in front of the attraction let us know to come back at noon. The locker rooms and bathrooms are clean. There were plenty of lounge chairs around the various water attractions. You did not have to walk far to get from one water slide or attraction to another. The food at the Roseland cafe tasted pretty good for amusement park food, the usual hamburger, hotdog, chicken tenders with fries are available along with a variety of snacks, cotton candy and popcorn, and their ice-cream is delicious. My family really enjoyed our visit here on July 2, 2024. It was a Tuesday, so there were no crowds or lines for any of the slides. We spent the afternoon enjoying the wave pool, lazy river and multiple slides. They also have a Splash zone for younger guests. If you are passing through the Canandaigua area, I highly recommend making time to stop of at...
Read moreI agree with everyone saying price doesn’t match the park $35.00 each for anyone over 48” don’t get me wrong the park was nice and clean looks like they are trying wasn’t bad but the price really needs adjustment compare to other water parks that charge similar price has much more slide than rose land park hopefully maybe in future new owners would consider expanding maybe adding games and arcades does have the space for it but can’t see my family paying $140.00 to get in for only 4-5 slides n a wave pool not to mention wave pool wasn’t working properly n lazy river close again due too short staff which can’t control the staffing shortage every where is having staffing issues all business but if rides are not fully operational shouldn’t be charging for price . I think adjustment price might help get more better rating and more to come I feel maybe 25.00 for adults $20.00 for children’s above 48 m kids maybe $15-16 which could lead to more and maybe help with getting more customers willing to go I would give 3 stars if price wasn’t so high my opinion but not a bad place to spend a day if on vacation and need something to do . FYI the kids will love the park regardless they won’t kno the difference but for me definitely don’t agree with pricing has of now maybe in...
