I got married this summer. I wanted to keep my business local in getting the suits for my wedding. I went to Jonathan Reid and picked out a suit that I loved. My wife brought her father in to get fitted for the suit and come to find out the suit was discontinued and we weren't able to buy the suits. They never contacted me to let me know. I went back and picked out another suit that wasn't discontinued. I had all of my grooms men in there at least two or three times to get measured for their suits. When get got the suits, a week or so before the wedding and after yelling at the manger for missing parts of the suits. NOT one suit fit the grooms men properly. I, the groom, wore a suit that the coat sleeves were so long it looked like I was a little kid wearing my father's suit and the pants were huge. We were hand measured by their "knowledgeable sales staff".
I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there. They have no organization at all. Everything is on post it notes and scrap pieces of paper as their filing system. None of them have a clue what the other is doing. They will blame everyone but themselves if something doesn't go according to plan. I'm shocked they've been in business as long as they have with how mismanaged the business is.
UPDATE: I was asked to be a groomsmen in my friend’s wedding. I BEGGED him not to come here but decided to do it anyway. None of the tuxedos fit anyone correctly. I had to purchase suspenders just so the pants wouldn’t fall to the ground every step, they were off by 12 inches!!!! We picked the tuxedos up 2 days before the wedding and only half of the groomsmen had the right color!!! I had to pick them up in the 11th hour and the staff that it was funny that I was picking up vests and ties an hour before pictures. The groom had to wear a belt around his pants, with no belt loops, to keep the pants on. I don’t know how they’re still open. Do yourself a favor, for the same price, go to Men’s Wearhouse and get a suit/tuxedo...
Read moreSo, to start off, the owner is the most arrogant man I have ever met, the moment he started talking I wanted to leave. But I’m just the best man and for some reason we stayed, even after telling the groom we don’t have to get suits from him. During the measurements, he said “I’m going to say your a 36 waist” I said “yeah that’s right, good guess!” Proceeds to say in such a tone of voice I was ready to just walk “ I don’t guess, I just know”. The shoes, we were special ordering instead of the pair that come with the rental, told him I wear a size 10 shoe, even in my other dress shoes I’ve worn, “nope you’re getting a 9”. Why? Flash forward to a few days before the wedding to get our suits, what I knew was gunna happen, my shoes do not fit. Because he insisted on getting me a size 9 when I told him I’m a 10, and the pants, he ordered 2 sizes too big, and they are huge and look horrible. Even the grooms pants were ordered way too big and they just gave him suspenders instead of giving of pants that actually fit. I know this is long, but this was the worst experience, and now we are all going into this wedding not feeling confident about how we look, a total disaster. Oh and when we called, we’re told “that’s the style”. No. Getting pants that are 2 sizes wrong is NOT the style. Horrible service, awful arrogant stuck up owner, if I could give this place zero stars I would. Was kind of hoping that his arrogance would pay off when we got the suits, but it was the completely opposite. He...

I recently got married and did tuxedo rentals for our wedding party here. Jeff made the experience seamless and one less thing to stress about. The measurement process was quick, and every single tuxedo was perfectly sized when they came in, no alterations needed. Plus, the quality of the tuxedos was immaculate. I have rented from Men’s Warehouse & Jos A Banks in the past and my measurements have never been close to correct the first time, and the quality of their products you can tell have been rented several times. The tuxedos we got at J Reid basically seemed like a brand-new tux. Safe to say, our group looked sharp! And to top it all off, we paid less than what I’ve paid at Mens Warehouse for a tux with less tux features than what we got. The whole team of staff there is friendly and knowledgeable. I loved this store so much I bought a suit as well. They are always offering deals for suits and their products are top notch. If you need any sort of menswear, this is your spot, and anyone planning a wedding in the Glens Falls/Saratoga area, you’d be silly to not...
