Finger Lakes Beverage Center — Attraction in City of Ithaca

Quite honestly the quintessential destination for finding hard-to-find items as well as a very large selection of craft and microbrews.You want to leave yourself some time to shop around because there's a lot of square footage to cover! There are sodas as well as Seltzer's. They sell my favorite Polar brand, cheaper than the local supermarket.

I was actually sent to this place by an employee of a nearby convenience store. I had been let down and disappointed by this competitor by not supplying a beverage that I newly discovered and fell in love with called Coco-Ritas! I have a long history of bad luck at times with new beverages, as I try them once, go back to buy more and the distributor doesn't bring anymore.

The the place where those distributors are taking all those new brews and hard to find items is right here to Finger lakes Beverage Center! CocoRita ....found it. What can I say? A local owner whose store is filled with real people who are knowledgeable and have a good sense of humor; a wonderful atmosphere, plus the place is cleaner than my house--and so are the kazillion beer, soda and cider bottles! Selection? Better than the average bear Boo-Boo!!! Just wicked nice people and a wicked good store to boot.......AND 6 cents for bottle and can returns---no hassle and easy to do. Beer snob here. Many but not all of the staff are very knowledgeable about the stuff they sell and I always walk home with more beer than I'd intended to get because I love trying out their recommendations. It's not 100% spot on but some of them are truly very helpful in finding beers that you'd like. It's not the cheapest yet never overpriced for the quality.
