The coaches at this gym are some of the most knowledgeable and friendly individuals I have had the pleasure of meeting. They are always on hand to provide guidance, answer any questions, and ensure that everyone is executing their exercises correctly and safely. Their smart training methods have helped me reach my fitness goals in a way that I never thought possible, and I have learned so much from them along the way.

Read moreThe pandemic coupled with a stress filled occupation and a few years of complacency had left me out of shape and easily winded. This just didn't jive with the things I still want to accomplish in my life. So early in the pandemic, I set off on a course of self improvement.... after about 4 or so months of effort, I came to the realization I just didn't have a clue of what I was doing. I put in the effort and saw little results.
That's when I reached out to Joey for help. He introduced me to Jordan, who took her time in helping rebuild my strength and conditioning. We are now about 3 or 4 months into her personalized 30 minute sessions, and I have seen tremendous improvement, particularly in how I feel. I've not felt this good in years, probably reversing time by 5 to 7 years (in how I feel).
A word of warning, however, I would not let her know she is getting "soft" on you as the next work out proves otherwise... unless of course, you want her to push you, in which I think is the whole point, personally.

Read moreIf you had told me at the beginning of this year that the phrase 'I like going to the gym' would be something I would say, unprompted and out loud, I'd have laughed you out of the room. As someone who is not athletically gifted and has previously found gyms to be fairly intimidating, I was wary of signing up. However, due to repeated annoying injuries that occurred whenever I tried to increase my running distances beyond a certain point, I knew I needed some help. I began training with Coach Lou and it was probably the best decision I've made in ages.
There is no toxicity or weird ego nonsense in this gym. The trainers are all friendly and encouraging, and Lou has somehow even made Bulgarian split squats an enjoyable activity. My running has improved dramatically, and I'm about to attempt my first trail marathon without carrying any injuries. This is amazing. If you want to improve your fitness in a supportive, healthy, and welcoming environment, look no further than this place.
