Lincoln Street Diner (LSD) is a small but homey diner that's in a fairly residential area, which I think is really cool. Don't come here with a big party, as the largest table seats four people and there are probably about 25 seats in the whole restaurant. I came with a group of 8, and we were separated into three tables. The food was really good. I ordered an omelet and didn't quite expect what they handed me, but it was super good (it was more like a scramble than a traditional omelet). Omelets can sometimes be really bland, but LSD did a great job of making sure that the food was seasoned well. No complaints about pricing/service either - it was all super fair. Lastly, it gets busy, so be ready to wait!

The decor of Lincoln Street Diner is authentic American style diner, simple and adorable. The staff used standing character cardboards to keep customers in social distance which was creative and interesting. The options on their menu are not super various but enough for a decent brunch & breakfast. We had Western Omelet, French toast and unlimited coffee with reasonable price and great portion. The food is overall delicious, especially the omelette. We love the omelette, which was well-cooked and kept the texture moist. The French Toast was simply tasty but kind of dry.

A quirky neighborhood spot where the regulars all know each other, the breakfasts and burgers are great, and daily homestyle specials range from very good to amazing. Fish fry on Fridays, chili dogs most Thursdays, fresh roast turkey dinners frequently, creative chicken salad, etc. Breakfast is limited for weekday lunch hours; no griddle items. Saturday is breakfast items only. You may have to wait for a table. It’s worth it.

Lincoln Street Diner is a beloved classic in Ithaca, offering a true taste of comfort food in a cozy, nostalgic setting. If you're looking for a spot where you can get hearty, satisfying meals that remind you of simpler times, this diner hits the mark. With its retro charm and friendly vibe, it’s the kind of place where you can easily relax and enjoy a meal, whether you’re there for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

One of the best things about Lincoln Street Diner is its all-day breakfast menu, which is a standout in the Ithaca dining scene. The omelets are a customer favorite, loaded with fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. Whether you go for a classic Western or opt for something more inventive like a vegetarian version, you can count on fluffy eggs and generous portions. If you’re in the mood for something sweet, their pancakes are thick and fluffy, served with butter and syrup that is sure to hit the spot.

For lunch or dinner, the burgers at Lincoln Street Diner are simple but delicious. The classic cheeseburger is juicy and well-seasoned, served with crispy fries and a pickle on the side. If you're in the mood for something lighter, their grilled chicken salad is fresh and flavorful, with just the right amount of dressing. The French toast is another great option, made with thick slices of bread and perfectly caramelized on the outside.

What sets Lincoln Street Diner apart is the atmosphere. The diner feels like a step back in time with its vintage décor, friendly service, and warm, inviting ambiance. It’s the type of place where the staff remembers your name, and you feel like part of the community. The service is always quick and attentive, but the pace is relaxed, so you can take your time and enjoy your meal.

For anyone in Ithaca looking for a classic diner experience with delicious, no-frills food, Lincoln Street Diner is a must-visit. It’s a place where you can always count on good food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to come back...

I am serious about breakfast. I am serious about coffee refills. Ask anyone and they will plainly tell you this is so.

The Lincoln street diner is one of a kind. When I was younger and I was a man about town, there was nothing better than after a night out than the Ziffy. It’s got all the recovery one might need. Three types of meat, gravy if you wish, peppers onions, cheese, and home fries. It comes with toast. I always go with Texas toast because hey, it’s bigger. One time I ate a Ziffy and then subsequently ate a bo burger. I moved extra slowly throughout the remainder of that day. I stand by that choice.

They take their time to get to know their patrons. I went in there all the time during the height of the pandemic. It was a nice place to have breakfast, and play chess on my phone. They anticipate the needs of the customers. I would often have coffee at my place before I sat down. Chris is hilarious to talk too.

I have lived in Ithaca nearly all my life and there are few quality, consistent, reasonably priced breakfast places left. Lincoln street diner is one of them.

This is small business as small...

I've heard about the Lincoln Street Diner from past family members and people from Ithaca. This was my first and not last time dining. The atmosphere is very light, warm and welcoming. It was nice to walk in the door and feel like I stepped back in time. Everyone worked together like a well oiled machine. They wanted you to be there and were ready to serve you. I was asked if I wanted to sit at the counter. Part of the ambiance was listening to the conversations of others. I orderd coffee, and a Philly cheese omelet with homefries and toast. I was delighted to find they offered sourdough bread. The coffee was very good and my food was delicious, made with love and care. The people serving were very kind and attentive. They knew incoming people's orders before they walked in. I left feeling very satisfied and...
