Business Is Blooming — Local services in City of Ithaca

Planning a wedding is already stressful, but add in a global pandemic and you're bound to loose your mind. During all the changes and last minute choices (there were A LOT), everyone from Business is Blooming was amazing!!! Eva Bleakley kept in constant contact with me and tripled checked the numbers multiple times to make sure everything was perfect.

Without meeting in person, Eva was able to take my random photos and vague descriptions of my vision and create AMAZING bouquets and boutonnieres along with a stunning arch for the ceremony. She also was very careful when picking which plants and flowers went into the arrangements because of my wide array of allergies.

Did I mention that I didn't see the actual floral design until the day of the wedding? Eva made me feel so comfortable and beyond confident that the flowers were going to be perfect so I never stressed or worried.

Fast forward to the day of the wedding... Eva and her team drove out to a separate location to deliver our flowers for detail photos and then drove to our ceremony venue (30 minutes away) to start setting up the arch (which they also removed for us a few days later).

I was blown away at how perfect the flower arrangements were! She literally took everything I wanted and put it together in an arrangement that I couldn't have loved more. Each bouquet comes in a vase with water so I was actually able to enjoy them for the entire week of my staycation honeymoon.

We worked with Eva for our wedding in Nov 2018 and this review is wayyy overdue. Eva was the most pleasant vendor we worked with throughout the entire wedding planning process. Words cannot express how thankful and how satisfied we were to use Business is Blooming. We planned the entire wedding from out of state and had the chance to meet with Eva in person one time before the wedding. She paid attention to all my ideas and trully listened to my vision. They worked to keep us in our budget and offered solutions to still make the florals a star of the wedding day. I was a picky, or better to note, I-knww-what-I-didn't-like type bride, and Eva never shut down my opinions: which is more than I can say for most vendors. She truly cared to make my wedding special for me and I can't emphasize more, this is the type of business you want to work with. These are the kind of people that not only want to achieve success, but truly care about putting their best foot forward to provide a customer experience that exceeds all expecations. On the wedding day itself, we were blown away by the outcome. The flowers looks like we spent tens of thousands of dollars on them. We managed to keep quite a lot of them and even sent some guests home with arrangements! My bouquet dried really nicely and is now in a clear keepsake box in my dining room. Eva and Jena made our dreams come true for our September Wedding. From our consultation right up until our wedding day, they felt like a part of the family and showed professionalism as well as flexibility in the planning process. Jena was an absolute gem to work with for our greenery wedding and was able to create the masterpiece that I didn't even know I needed.
