Eighth Note Music Store — Attraction in City of Oneonta

I am currently take Guitar Lessons here! I love him as a Teacher! Plus, he has fun techniques and tricks that help you learn and feel like you can do it! He is very strict about being on time. He is great at starting from the beginning and working at your pace. The store is very inviting and friendly. He will make you tune the Guitar every time and show him so you do it correctly! He does 30 minute sessions that’s why you have to be on time. However, it is well worth it. I feel more like I’m actually accomplishing something when he teaches me because he will compliment you when you are starting to get the hang of things or if you first tried it he will challenge you. I would recommend the store! I chose them because they are local and were willing to take on an adult learner. They do treat you all the same! We had brought in a bass guitar that my son recieved for Christmas. We just wanted to know maybe a brand and maybe a year. We were told it was basically worthless and it could not be played. We knew it would take tons of work to fix it. We were not stupid about what we needed to do to it to make it better. Especially needing a neck which according to the gentleman was probably warped. We were just hoping for more information about the guitar. With the way the gentleman was talking I got the impression he just wanted us to get one of his basses. I remember when I was young and playing an instrument I went to Eighth Note. Now years later my granddaughter is playing and instrument. Tyler was amazing in helping me. I rented her clarinet and purchased extra reeds (anyone with a child playing a woodwind always gets plenty of extras). I am so pleased with their service and availability. I am still amazed that the information sheets sent home with rhe children didn't mention 8th Note but an establishment in Utica. Please purchase local.
