Good Games — Attraction in City of Oneonta

This store is like a breath of fresh air. there is never a dull moment in this store because they are always improving and doing projects to make it better. just a few months and they could move things around or order new things to make it look more presentable.

Its very easy to find games to play with people or find people for a game you like and want them to try. they have there weekly schedule which already has a lot of variety for events. but your also allowed to try a game off their shelf in the back or even bring in your own thing that they maybe don't have yet.

As far as staff and the players go they're very welcoming and willing to help if your learning a game or just have a question about a game. The staff are very fun to talk to as they ask about your interests or will just start conversation about anything really. I've seen staff and customers laugh and smile as they talk about a bad video game or something. players are very kind as well, I've played magic the gathering from a beginner for example and they'll ask if your coming again, its very encouraging to keep trying and work harder to improve. I've never been told I couldn't play certain games.

This store is really home to gamers but also good for people of all ages. very accepting off older generations and great with kids. i could keep going on and on about how much i love this place. but its probably best you check it out...

I do everything I can to support local stores. But this place has really ruined my relationship with them. Came here a few times to buy thing and loved it. I placed an order with them to order the game Dice Throne Season 2 set. Was told they would call me in a week and let me know the ETA. Well a week went by and I had to call them. Was told they would talk to manager and call me back. Another week went by and the same response was given when I asked them again for ETA. 2 weeks went by and I never heard a word from them. Called again. Given the same exact response. So I ordered online instead from the Dice Throne website. Got it within a week. We are now a month and a half out or more and this store has yet to contact me about it. Not like it evene matters now. So going to be telling everyone I know to not go here if this is how...

I got thinking about this place and figured I'd write a review. It's a lovely shop and they've got more than just games. I heard that the owner's planning to split the metaphysical stuff to a store separate from the game and comics but having them all together makes a pretty nice vibe too, to be honest. Very welcoming and chill owner. Very reasonable prices for crystals with a huge and ever changing variety and little cards over the product displays with there names. The also sell spell candles, various tarot decks and sage and other cleaning bundles as well as incense and books.
