A hair was in the food. Everybody make mistakes, and I didn't claim or reorder since it was late at night, and our small child with us was still hungry and needed my food right away. So I've chosen not to reorder. When the owner came to our table, I asked her to be careful in the future. Then she said I should have reordered the food and we heard no apology. She sounded such things happened often. When she came to our table again, I said she should apologize at least to show her sincerity. Then she began to argue with me for my not reordering the dish. Also she insisted she had apologized already. It could be my misunderstanding I didn't hear her apology, but I think the restaurant staffs shouldn't argue with their customers like that. We paid for the food with a hair as well, and left less tip because of her attitude. The waitresses are nice enough, but one young one was texting on her cell at the counter. It reminded me of a cheap Chinese food deli. They were also late to come to the table with menus and checks. The food was nothing very special. Just O.K. except a hair. One of our friend said she used to own a different type of restaurant at the same place and she also had an attitude then, too. They seem not to have much policy in what they cook & serve. The attitude from the owner ruined the...

Be weary of takeout. I find that portions are smaller and frequently incorrect. I ordered a dish that was half mushrooms (I can't eat mushrooms; it also contained spinach which shouldn't have, so I essentially received the wrong dish). The description didn't mention mushrooms, and the kind woman I spoke with acknowledged that I was right, it wasn't on takeout or in-house menu and offered me a free courtesy dish.

But the first phone call I made, the woman was extremely rude and did not care whatsoever about my concerns and that I couldn't eat it. She did not try to make things right and even argued with me when I told her I simply wanted the dish I thought I was ordering. She hung up the phone after I asked for her name.

So I did pick up my free dish tonight. I'm very happy that at least one employee cared about a repeat customer. However, I was a bit disappointed when I discovered there was 3 less shrimp than my first dish (if you pay the same upcharge for shrimp, it should be consistent with how many you get). I thought that was pretty tacky, considering I paid the same price but couldn't eat...

My wife, daughter (16yo), and I stopped in Oneonta, NY on our way to Cooperstown, NY and stumbled upon Simply Thai on Yelp. We are so glad we did. This might be the best Thai food we have ever eaten. We each ordered someing different for dinner, but started with a steamed dumpling appetizer, which was delecious with a great sweet dipping sauce. I ordered the Pad See Ew with Seafood Combination as the protein. The fresh wide rice noodles and the sweet soy sauce were amazing. I ordered a hotness level 3 and it left my nose running and lips tingling, but it was so full of flavor. My wife ordered the Drunken Noodles with pork as the protien and a hotness level 2 and had similar comments about how good the pork and flavor were. Our daughter ordered the Pad Thai with pork, and while she loved it, the portion was so large that it looked like she didn't eat much of it. All in all, the service was great, the food was awesome, and if you are ever in Oneonta, New York please check out this restaurant and eat local. The food...

My Tastebud and I visited Simply Thai. We enjoyed the fried dumplings and dumpling sauce. Though the chicken wings looked tasty and were crispy, the flavor fell flat. We ordered the chicken stir-fry with cashews and the green coconut curry served with rice. The stir fry was excellent and definitely would recommend. I opted for spicy level #2 and found it to be too spicy(though I'm used to spicy foods). It made my nose run. I liked the green coconut curry gravy, but the chicken was not tender and tasted like it was cooked in a separate pot. I was disappointed. In regard to the service, it was excellent! My Tastebud and I recommend it. Worth a second trip.

My friends chose this restaurant on our trip I was 😬😬😬 as I have never had thai food. I must say that the Chicken Pad Thai was delicious and the spicy peanut dressing on the salad was strange to my tastebuds but very delicious. Don't love the 18% tip being added in automatically but it seems all places do that nowadays with groups. Very quiet/loud depending on the patrons. There is zero music which I wasn't a huge fan of but we had a great time :) **I sent this pic to my husband as I knew he'd be proud I tried something new 🤣

We were in town to check out the Foothills arts center for the Fringe Festival for our Burlesque Buffet Sept 23rd and when we asked for recommendations this was the first place mentioned by the staff and was it on point the food was delicious, the services was nice and the portions were just right. Just like the name suggests it's simply Thai
