It's a gorgeous park with lots of trails, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, a walking loop around the fresh water reservoir (.69 miles a lap and a wonderful spot to walk your dog), and paths for bicycling if you wish. It has incredibly beautiful panoramic views of the City of Rochester and I would highly recommend visiting, even if you only have a few minutes. If you want to park by the baseball diamonds or tennis courts, or hike the hill to the reservoir, the Culver/Norris entrance is the one for you. There is street parking was well as a generous parking lot near the tennis courts you can walk around to access the path to the top of the hill for the walking loop. If you don't want to make the hill trek, the park entrance from Highland/Monroe is the one for you. There is a driving path all the way to the top, with lots of available parking. There are some handicapped spaces next to the radio tower building at the top of the hill and it's a short easy walk to the benches to rest and soak in the views of the city. I can't say enough about how beautiful those views are; and it's a perfect spot for a picnic or spontaneous announcement. ☺️ Don't forget to check out the architecture on the Cobbs Hill Water Works building at the top of the stairs. Built in 1908, it has lion sculpture heads, Greek key patterns carved into the stone, and other little architecture presents that show the beauty of the era.

Often overshadowed by the more marketed Highland Park, Cobbs Hill is a treasure tucked neatly nearby. The full park has a lot to offer, basketball courts, baseball field, tennis courts, and plenty of green space in the lower area - the true gem is up towards the reservoir - Washington Grove and the old water tanks. Washington Grove is an old-growth Oak-Hickory Forest with winding trails that take you away from the bustle of the city. The ecology is amazing here, and I'll never get tired of seeing the mushrooms or berries peeking through from the undergrowth. The water tanks proudly show off local graffiti artists, and the talent that can be found up there is immense! The murals change more often than the seasons, and I always look forward to seeing what's new. In the summer and fall, you can step inside at least one of the tanks to see more art and get those brain itches scratched with a delightful echo. The reservoir itself makes for a great walking track if you're looking for paved and pretty (ps, it's about .69mi for one lap)

A great park for everyone! Brought my 3 and 5 year old here, and they loved it. Short hiking trails perfect for the young ones as they don't last long usually. The trail besides the basketball court brings you uphill to the tennis courts. Going further up you will see the reservoir. A very manageable walk even for young children. There were 4 tennis courts. A mobile bathroom right there was convenient. The basketball court has the ground repainted recently. There are 4 full courts. The kids playground was on the small side, but right to it was a young challenge area with quite a few things to play with. In the same area was a fitness place, good for workouts without having to pay membership elsewhere. We were very happy with the park and would certainly come back. There were picnic tables by the water, great for a casual outing surrounded by relaxing views. Highly recommend!

Always clean & free from liter. People there usually keep to themselves, no "riff-raff". The RPD patrol the area frequently. The best part about the park is the fairly new playground! It's similar to a mini kids "ninja" obstacle course. There's two separate units that are appropriate for certain age groups & is clearly posted next to each section. My kids love it because it's so unique... definitely not your typical playground with a slide & a few swings. This truly allows them the freedom to run, jump, climb, EXERSICE & HAVE FUN in a safe & controlled environment. I've watched many kids take the course quite seriously because they want to perfect it. It's nice to see that kind of drive & motivation in young kids these days. There's also a basketball court, baseball fields & two large ponds to enjoy. A lot of folks walking dogs, usually leashed & it appears that most of the time they clean up after their dogs do their...
