Art Pros need solid advice to do amazing work people will enjoy for decades. I found Mike Lesczinski and his Team Members very knowledgeable for some tricky art questions I've had. For example, I was doing signage that would be exposed to tough four seasons weather. Mike guided me to an industrial enamel paint that worked like a charm. I also draw live caricatures. Let me show you one made with their art media. The couple who I drew LOVED IT! I read, "Expensive!" on a handful of past comments. Well... Maybe they are just a tiny bit more than a big box store. But they have staff that are my art friends. So our payments are helping someone work in the Arts and pay their bills. They also have sales and coupon specials. I finally checked this store out. I wanted to see what items they sold for two reasons. One The Art Store in Henrietta closed down and two I recently started liking fountain pens and I was curious if they might have any in their inventory. Spoiler alert, they did. I chatted with an employee who gave me a tour of the store and showed me their extensive paper collection. It was very impressive. Back to the fountain pens, I did see one I liked. I debated purchasing it left the store and headed back to my truck. I turned around and walked back into the store and purchased the fountain pen and refill cartridges It wasn't very expensive it's very nice. Without a doubt the best art store in Rochester! A huge selection of all sorts of quality supplies for all sorts of mediums, and helpful staff to help you make your pick. Certainly the best place around for a spray paint selection, but also they carry quality pastels, water color pencils, acrylics, sketch pages of all sorts, fine papers, inks, water colors, oil paints- you name it, they've got it, and high quality, too! You do usually pay for said quality, but even still prices aren't usually marked far beyond the actual worth of the brand.
