Whitmore's International Barber Shop — Attraction in City of Rochester

I Love this place, They are such honorable people, I was able to pay in advance via venmo so I would have money to pay for my haircut and lyft money to get there and back home. So I wouldn't have all my subscriptions to take my money before I got to my appointment. I went on a Saturday and it was a perfect time. I called the Barbershop and mel Quan answered and he took my venmo payment and told me he would give the money to Jesse my barber that has cut my hair 2 times so far. I had my picture in my phone ready for the cut I wanted and jesse did a good job with mimicking it. They take cash and cash app payments also. I like to budget so my hair cut was $35.00 and my lyft was budget was $30.00 I saved it in my payment dashboard. So if yall trying to get back in the work force or you just want good vibes when your getting your hair cut. This is the place I promise you. The owner and crew are beyond personable, the prices are reasonable, and their ability is way above par.

Often when I got my haircut elsewhere, there was idle and awkward conversation between the barber and I that felt like a lull. Here, there is an energy and community between the crew and patrons that is clean, hysterical, and energizing. Everyone makes an effort to make you feel earnestly welcome and comfortable.

The man who cut my hair, Bryan, was able to give me exactly the haircut I wanted, despite only having a vague description. Afterward, he made sure every specification was met, and even offered to trim my beard. My hair looks great, which I know because my girlfriend told me.

Longer version:I was in Rochester for the day and needed a haircut. Was able to find a haircut style I liked and showed it to my barber Justin. He did a great job giving me exactly what I wanted. Reasonable price, great atmosphere did not at all feel unwelcome. I was able meet Whitmore as well and while waiting I watched him finish a cut.
