Atlantic Intercom — Attraction in City of Yonkers

I have used Atlantic before and they were very professional and thorough. This second time has been a nightmare. I told them that the intercoms on all floors at my building were not working. I made sure that all the tenants were there so that they had access to troubleshoot. They never called to say that they were done and one of my tenants complained that they never came into the apartment to troubleshoot. When I called them, they said they troubleshooted from outside (which was a new one for me) and I should let them know if there was any issue. I heard nothing from the tenant so I forgot about it. I went to the building a week later and to my surprise, I could not get in. The intercom was not opening the door. I immediately called because I could not understand how they could have missed that. They came back and fixed it but charged me for labor again. When I asked why I was being charged again for something they missed, I was given a $25 discount on the additional $125 labor. I just got off the phone with the manager Nick and he told me "listen I don't have time to talk to customers harassing me over price. We were trying to save you money". Lesson learned. I had a deeply disturbing experience with this business and feel a responsibility to warn others. Based on what happened to me personally, I do not feel safe recommending this company, especially in environments involving children. I believe there are serious concerns regarding the behavior of the owner.
