Hardwood Bros — Attraction in City of Yonkers

Casey was the best ! I asked for a last minute change to my delivery and she accommodated me with only 24 hours notice.

The delivery people were polite, funny, courteous and professional ! And Their wood is Pristine ! I just lit my 2nd fire tonight and its burns impeccably !

What I especially like is that I can store as much wood as I want inside the house because it's all Kiln dried with very low moisture and totally Bug free !

I was also totally shocked (happily) when the delivery people told me that they store all their wood inside their warehouse. So it's not just sitting outside in the damp cold weather and stuff and attracting bugs, etc.

I would happily recommend this company and their wood to anybody !

While their prices may appear to be a bit on the higher side - what you have to realize is that most places store their wood outside and maybe it's just cut from the tree. This wood is professionally treated and "Bug" free so I would say that "you get what you pay for !!!" I will definitely be ordering more wood from them Again when this 1st...

We bought our first home in Dutchess County and needed wood everyone I called was sold out. I called Hardwood Bros at 7:30 at night expecting to get a recording saying they didn't have wood, well was I surprised when Gene answered the phone and had wood. I had no idea how much wood I would need or the cost. Gene was honest and sold me a mini cord the perfect amount for us. I thought I would have to wait until the next day to have the wood delivered but Gene said he would delivery it that night. Gene was in Bronxville when I called he went from Bronxville to Dutchess County picked up my mini cord, delivered and stacked the wood at my house so we would have wood when we moved in that weekend. Oh by the way he delivered the wood at 9:30 that night and sent me a video of the wood on my porch. We have lit a fire everyday since we moved in and it smells great. Highly recommended, excellent customer service, great product. I ordered a face-cord of mixed hardwood in November, but had a lot of trouble using it in our wood stove: lots of smoke and smoldering. Not having bought from them before, I thought the wood might be green and emailed the company. Got a response the next day from Casey offering to send someone out with a meter and additional wood to rectify the problem. I checked with my own meter and found the wood was perfect, most pieces below 9% moisture. Problem was in my stove and flue; fixed and now the wood burns beautifully. Kudos to them for offering to fix a problem that wasn't there's to begin with. I will definitely be ordering...
