There’s a difference between old-school and outdated. Old-school is like this place, a 3-screen venue that gives a sense of nostalgia that is unlike other theaters such as the nearby Alamo. You could always come back to it. Outdated is something you’d never want to go back to.
They’ve actually had several owners over the decades this place has been around. Clearview took over in the 1990s from the original owners. Then they got taken over by Bow Tie, who ran the place from 2013 until 2020, when it fell victim to the pandemic. Parking worked out well too, got a spot in the lot that was very close to theater. No meters on Sundays! Price $13.50 adult, $11.50 senior. Everything clean but on the older side, certainly not bad....
