I've been suffering from feet issues for the past few years. A lot of my work involves me being on my feet for 10-12 hour days with a 25lb pack on my waist and I always end up with intense heel pain by the end of the day. The employee I dealt with was very helpful and truly wanted to get to the bottom of my issue. He put me on the treadmill and recorded my jog. We analyzed it together and he explained how my feet were landing incorrectly. He explained what type of show was best for me. He then gave me 4 it 5 pairs to try on. After I settled on 2 he put me on a heat/pressure sensitive pad which measured how flat my feet were. With this information he was able to fit me for insoles. We then tried in the insoles in both of the shoes I picked and recorded each result on the treadmill again. We were then able to see which pair addressed my particular issue the best. The whole experience was pretty neat. I went on a 3 day work trip 2 days afterwards and I was on my feet ALL day. I can't say that my feet were completely pain free. (I guess the shoes don't actually perform miracles) but I can say that there was a big difference and my feet felt a lot better at the end of my work day. Kudos to Bronxville...
Read moreWilliam has good customer service. I did not appreciate the woman locked the door in my face and closed the door 5 mins early on a different day. Im not sure if any of the sales associates are avid runners like in Brooklyn. Brooklyn store has a much more casual and knowledgeable environment, with a larger selection. I was given 10 percent off for a pair of shoes with an ink stain on a sole. This was the medical/student discount offered by William. I WAS ALREADY ENTITLED TO. It was small but having worked in retail for 1000 years i personally would have given more, 15-20% for a pair of shoes 150.00. its a small size shoe the stain is about an inch. Im under the impression dollar amt of sales vs items sold is a bigger deal. In Brooklyn the sales people have a lot of inexpensive shoes and advise them freely. I personally dont care about price, Im just stating my experience. Online prices are not honored. Im not a big runner but I have visited the store 3x and I did not see any info about...
Read moreI am an infrequent runner, but at my age I need to exercise every day, so running has become part of my routine. I have been wearing Asics for over a decade. It was time to replace the ones I had purchased before the pandemic. I immediately purchased the most expensive ones on the web site although only one color was available. After wearing once, decided I did not like brown. Went to Fleet Feet Bronxville, this past Sunday where I was fitted properly and presented with 3 choices in my size, 13. Also got an orthotic and socks for less then paid for the first paid. Did chose the ASICS, not by the brand but felt they had the best cushion. First time I remember buying sneaker from an educated, knowledgeable sales person whom knew the proper shoes for my feet and...
