Updated review 3/10/2023: The owner (Stephanie) is a gem of a human and truly wants the best for her business and her customers. I was offered another opportunity to try a prenatal massage by another person and it was night and day. Definitely recommend this beautiful spa and Liz for prenatal massages! Liz has magical hands and I left the spa feeling like a new woman! I'm grateful for my experience and my opportunity to try this spa again! Thank you Stephanie and thank you Liz! I left the spa smiling and hoping to visit again before this baby comes out!

Didn't have a great experience here for a prenatal massage. Offered to send my feedback to the owners personally so they could solve the issues behind-the-scenes instead of publishing it on Google, and I did this. However did not receive an answer so will continue with the review I was going to write. The prenatal massage I received was less than ordinary. It was way too expensive to have not gotten any relief. The individual giving the massage was definitely inexperienced and spent half the time rearranging the blankets around my body. I had a sad experience and left frustrated, upset and like I wasted my money and time. Overall, will not be coming back and hope that the owners solve the issues at hand, as it seems like I'm not the only one with these thoughts...

The aesthetician was unprofessional and the experience was not comfortable or relaxing. When I tried to express this concern to the staff because I am a frequent customer and this aesthetician seems to be an exception I was told that one of the owners would call me back. No one did. I called back again a week later and was told that I should have gotten up during the service to leave if I was that uncomfortable. It’s not in my disposition to do that but I kept hoping it would get better. It did not. The aesthetician was coughing, sneezing and sniffling the whole time. Then I was told I should explain these reasons to the aesthetician myself. None of this seems professional at all. I'm disappointed because I have generally had very positive experiences here in the past but it seems like some of the recent staffing changes have changed this experience. I rarely if ever give negative feedback, but my time and money are valuable and if I'm spending those to have an enjoyable experience whether a facial or otherwise I do expect to have that experience or at least have my concerns recognized when I voice them. I’d like to start this shining review by saying, I will miss the entire team at Bronxville wellness sanctuary as I am relocating elsewhere. I’ve been coming here for the past few months and I’m more upset now because I didn’t discover it sooner. James has become another family member, and not the annoying kind you avoid at thanksgiving dinner, but the kind that would jump in a burning building to save your first born. That’s just the management team. Moving onto the bread and butter: Ricky has the strength of lion tamer and the tame delicateness of an orchid breeder, those two powerful assets combined completely melt away the weight of any burden you most certainly are carrying in these trying times. He’s packed full of very practical information as if he were reading directly out of a sports therapy almanac intra-massage and his concern for my posture was heartwarming to say the least. As you reluctantly depart this sanctuary of aromas and love, you’re given parting gifts of hydration and well wishes to soften the blow of not being able to stay there till then end of our numbered days here on Earth.
