Communication with caregivers is very poor because there isn’t any. They never answer the phones no matter what time of day you call. And if you leave a message you will not get a call back. There are a few CNA’s, nurses and PT’s that are great though, shout out to Eunice and Audrey on the 2nd floor for their amazing care and empathy when taking care of my husband. Elaine at the nursing station, thank you, you don’t go unnoticed for your hard work! Most of the staff are fake and scramble even they see family members are there. But when you’re not there there, I’m not treating your family members like they should be treated. when they are Don’t ever try to communicate with the social worker, they are horrible. They are not helpful and don’t listen to any of your concerns, they just push it off onto others. Any upgrades being made in patients rooms are using cheap materials that break easily. The food is horrible, overcooked mushy vegetables that look like they came out of a can, hotdogs, sloppy Joe’s, hamburgers, french fries and rice and beans. This is what was served to my husband who is supposed to be on a diabetic, heart healthy diet. They had to increase his insulin because of this. If you have to choose this facility because you have no other choice, then I advise that you be there to constantly advocate for your loved one. The three stars are for the staff only. This place needs to get better with their communication, sterility, food/menu/food preparation for dietary needs and hiring for their understaffed facility.

Avoid Hudson Hills Rehab! My mother spent 12 dreadful days at Hudson Hills Rehab, and it was a nightmare. Despite promises of a fully staffed center with nutritious meals and excellent care, the reality was far from it. The food was inedible, and my mother's meals were often forgotten or incorrect. We had to bring her food daily, as the staff seemed uninterested in her care. The social worker director, Mazal Ilyaich (aka Maz), was unprofessional and uncaring, prioritizing her appearance over her job. She made threats to scare residents' families, but her lack of knowledge and unconvincing behavior made them empty. The facility was dirty, with a strong smell of urine and feces. Residents were left in soiled diapers for hours, and sheets were rarely changed. The elevators were a safety hazard, and the parking situation was horrible. Only a few staff members, like RN Bianca, Danielle, Ms. Pam, and Mr. Victor, showed compassion and knowledge. The rest of the staff was inadequate, and the center's promises were empty. Leaving Hudson Hills was a relief, but my heart aches for the residents whose families can't be as present or those with no one to speak for them. Avoid this place at all costs. Be wary of the fake glowing reviews. See picture of the social worker director leaving a fake review. Ridiculous! Remember, your loved ones deserve better than Hudson Hills Rehab.

My name is Inosencia Martina Gordon. I was a patient/ resident at Hudson Hill Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. My experience at this facility was a very positive, & pleasant experience. The entire staff from the Nurses, CNAs’, The Physical & Occupational Therapists, Maintenance Workers, Security Personnel, The Social Workers, & Administration were very courteous, amicable, supportive, compassionate, respectful & knowledgeable of their respective responsibilities. I was a patient/ resident on the 3rd Floor. This particular floor everyone was very kind, compassionate, understanding, respectful, & supportive of all the patients/ residents feelings. Nurse Danielle made sure that everyone was aware of their responsibilities on a daily basis. I observed when there was a medical crisis/ emergency situation occurring on the 3rd floor the entire staff worked together to ensure that the situation was resolved appropriately, effectively, & quickly!! They followed all protocols / procedures to resolve the situation. They also showed compassion, empathy, & respect to the families during, & after the emergency situation. The Food at first wasn’t very tasteful. After meeting with the Food Committee positive changes were made that the food was tasteful, & enjoyable, & we were given options to choose from. The Food Department supplied all floors with snacks, drinks upon request. The Maintenance Department maintained all the rooms, & offices impeccably cleaned, sanitized, & deodorized at all times. The Nurses, CNAs’, Floor Clerk were all very kind, compassionate, cooperative , supportive, friendly , caring, & knowledgeable of their daily duties. The Recreational Department were very friendly, & compassionate. They provided great entertainment / activities on a daily basis. They interacted very well with the patients. The Social Workers were also very supportive, compassionate, caring, & knowledgeable of their duties. The Department of Physical & Occupational Therapy were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, supportive, caring, compassionate, friendly, & respectful to the patients/ residents. Overall I had a pleasant & positive experience with this facility. I made a lot of new friends. I will be returning to visit these individuals. I would recommend this facility to others. I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank everyone at Hudson Hill for making my recuperation process a...

My father was placed here despite our best wishes for his physical rehabilitation in late July, following planned surgery. He was in good health, but simply need rehab to build up his strength to come home. The facility was in disarray, under constant construction and everyone was forced to use the back door due to the front door being "broke for 4 plus months" according to staff members. This included incoming patients via ambulance and food deliveries occurring at the same time from my own observations. Within the first week, he fell out of bed reaching for his call bell as the staff placed it too far away from his reach, resulting in bruising and pain. Later in the first week, he was transported to a nearby hospital for another issue. During his second week, he started to physically breakdown, caught pneumonia and his oxygen tank was found to be empty by visiting family. A few days later he was rushed to the local hospital again due to breathing and heart rate problems despite the staff advising his was in great condition less than 24 hours prior. I'm sad to say that he never made it back to this facility or any other for rehab as he passed at the hospital a short while later. He was never the same, and the treatment, or better the lack thereof here at Hudson Hill was clearly a reason why. Do NOT send anyone you love to this facility or you will only be a case number and afterthought. Deeply hurt, saddened and angry by the lack of care and empathy from this place and I would never set foot in it again.

To add to this, the facility is posting bogus reviews on behalf of their patients without their true consent. My father despised this place and they have used his name for one of their reviews here. I will be reporting it immediately. ...

  • DON NOT SEND ANY PATIENT, FAILY MEMBER OR ANYONE TO THIS FACILITY CALLED HUDSON HILL CENTER FOR REHABILITATION AND NURSING HOME**Just want to Notify anybody that is planning on sending any family member or any patient from any hospital to this Hudson hill center for rehabilitation and nursing center. Just so everybody is aware this center is horrible is the only word that comes to mind. Besides, there's neglect, and there's abuse of the elderly. And the staff it is unprofessional. Yes, you know, and when I call regarding a specific patient that is a family member. That is, the nurse on the floor won't even provide me who the aid's name as well. As I have spoken. To I've called many times and spoken to many different people who either don't want to provide their names or provide their names. And still nothing has been done. The patient was there for more than A day and had not been Bathed or washed. It took me literally 10 hours for somebody to finally just change the patient's diaper, which they used napkins to clean the patient. As well as was in the same diaper from when he was in the hospital until from 5 o'clock in the morning when he left the hospital until around 830pm the next day. Which is without a doubt, negleit, and there's other patients that are in this facility that Are being neglected, mistreated and there is alot of elder abuse occurring in this facility. Please, if you do not want your family member to go through these things do not.I repeat do not send them to this facility!!!! Especially the staff has not been helpful at all for the most part.I have been calling the Nurse supervisor 3 hours now And I have not been able to get ahold of anybody nor am I able to...
