Honestly I’m really surprised by my visit. I’ve been recommended this place by all my coworkers, so I thought it would be a great spot to bring my book club. I was wrong. For the most part, the staff was nice but this one guy was a bit much. I don’t know if he was just having a day or what, but he was just so rude and condescending. Several side comments that just rubbed us the wrong way. There was a couple sitting with their child at a table, and he went over and told them the table was only for large parties, that they couldn’t sit there, and then gestured towards us. We were sitting at a table and were completely fine, the place wasn’t busy or anything. It literally wasn’t a problem. The couple ended up leaving because of how rude he was, and shortly after another staff member came over and said the booth was available for us. Yeah no, we stayed in our spot. A couple staff members kept hovering and honestly made us uncomfortable too. There was no reason to tell them to leave. Will not be coming back here. Also, why in the world do they only have one trash can?
Edit: okay so in the 5 minutes since posting, both of the condescending people came over to “apologize”. The first guy just apologized and was done with it, and everyone was fine. At some point the music was turned off (I’m assuming it was so they could hear us) and we could hear them in the back complaining about the review. Second person came over and was very passive aggressive, and claimed she had a polite conversation with the couple before they left (which wasn’t true, they ran outta there). She kept interrupting my friend, continued to be passive aggressive and made us all extremely uncomfortable in the situation. Odd thing to chase customers...

Green Eyes Coffee is a bit of a compromise, a decent coffee shop that also offers the convenience of light breakfast and lunches. Their simple offerings for breakfast won’t put the local cafes out of business. But on the other hand, here you can get your favorite coffee drink concoction with your meal, which the local cafes can’t provide. I had the one biscuit with gravy and hashbrowns for $9. My wife had a simple order of French toast $10. Both meals were fair, but nothing spectacular. (check the pictures)
The coffee here may be a medium roast, it certainly wasn’t bold. I had a Mocha and my wife had an iced vanilla latté. The coffee flavor was not prominent in either drink. The coffee drink prices are on par with most other shops and drive throughs in the area. It is a nice bright modern shop inside. Order at the counter. It was just cool enough to enjoy our coffee and meals on the patio. I made sure to ask if the coffee and meals would be delivered to us outside, or if I needed to retrieve them myself. I wanted to make sure I followed the rules to avoid a misunderstanding that would result in the cops being called. Our meals and coffee were delivered. We enjoyed the morning.
I like to read all the reviews good and bad for the places I visit. Wow, talk about Coffee Drama, read the three star and below reviews. Fortunately, my wife and I got in and out without getting caught up in some kerfuffle between a customer...

I've been to Green Eyes twice before within the past two months and the food was good, however until this morning I didn't realize I was paying more for my order than the price shown on the menu available on the counter. I noticed a slight difference, but assumed a tip was automatically included . . . bad guess.
This morning a couple in front of me placed their order and when it was rung up, the man said his order was $1.00 more than the price on the menu on the counter . . (I didn't hear if there was a difference on the woman's order). The man questioned the difference and was told by the Barista that prices changed periodically due to increased costs to them. The man continued questioning why the customer was not made aware of the difference up front & the Barista got the manager, who it turns out was the Owner.
The owner said their costs rose during the pandemic and the difference in prices between the menu and what was rung up reflected those increased costs. When the man said that the menu prices should have been revised to show that, the owner said she didn't have time. She then told the couple to leave or she would call the cops.
She seemed to have missed the point that if pricing for all items on the menu were increased from the published menu without advising the customer, the differences could be viewed either as bait & switch or false advertising.
The couple left.
I went...
