!! PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE IF YOU VALUE YOUR JEWELRY !!
Took my rings to get un-soldered and look at what they gave me back! Looks like the older gentleman that did my ring put the prongs or something on too tight and shifted my diamonds. Now, I’m just waiting for all the stones to fall out one by one now, all thanks to the awful job that was done to my ring! No way I, or anyone wearing a ring can do this kind of damage. This damage is 1,000% done by whatever device the jeweler used on my ring.
Makes me sick knowing the “repair guy” knowingly did this to me and many others and didn’t say a word, or even try to fix it. You can tell he has no pride in what he does on other people’s property. Not only did I pay $50 for un-soldered, guess I also paid $50 to have someone damage my ring and even though my ring didn’t cost an arm and a leg, now I have to spend more money on getting it fixed else where. No telling how much this will cost now.
1.Shame on me- for not reading all the negative reviews before bringing my ring in, because you’ve done this numerous times before on other rings that were brought in. 2.Shame on you- for thinking this kind of business is ethical, according to all your previous replies, knowing good and well, you like to manipulate the situation and play the victim, when innocent customers bring to your attention the damage that was obviously created by this “repair store”.
Edit: My husband just Googled how to unsolder rings by professional jewelers and this is the method, so makes total sense on all the damage spots on my ring. Picture is added below.
**Update to response: Comical isn’t it that you came back to edit your response and try to say I left a negative review for the wrong store and how I was never a customer, and once I presented my proof that I had the correct store, you then tried to gaslight me. LoL! I had a set of twins at the very end of October. Only reason I’m posting my review now is because I have time to do so. Yes, this current ring (Angelvcci) that you damaged is cubic zirconia (still cost $487.00 not including taxes and the matching band), because my real wedding set that cost $7,836.00 didn’t fit while I was pregnant and probably won’t for a while. But again… why the heck would I call the manager/owner to fix my ring after you knowingly damaged my ring to fix it??! Make that make sense! Ummmm….. Have you not read all your other negative reviews and clearly see that other customers had almost the exact same issues as my ring? It’s called accountability, something this place...
Read moreThey don’t even deserve the star that they are getting. I had my engagement ring resized (after months of daily wear) and to have it soldered together with my wedding band. Within a month of their service- I had two diamonds fall out of my engagement ring and am now terrified to wear my rings for fear that more stones would fall out. When I received the original service I was given a receipt that stated if there was damage to the ring within a certain date of service that they would repair the original cost of the ring. Given that I had this receipt- I returned to this business hoping for an easy resolution. Instead- the woman that I spoke to shirked off all responsibility and insulted my ring. This business is claiming that there is an issue with the prongs of my ring- however there were no issues prior to my ring being “fixed” at this establishment. Further- one of the diamonds that fell out of my ring is directly on the other side of where the jeweler soldered the ring. It does not take much brainpower or logic to see that this business is at fault for the damage to my ring and the lost diamonds, however I’ve been met with continued avoidance of responsibility and complete disrespect. I submitted a claim to the Better Business Bureau due to their dishonesty and damage to my ring. I strongly advise against giving these people anything that you value, and they certainly do not deserve your money.
EDITING because the business responded and continued to lie in their response. The terribly rude woman who insulted my ring stated that the solder was only on the backside of my ring where there are no stones. I’m including an additional photo to show that they did solder my ring where the stone had fallen out. But don’t worry, I took my ring to a reputable jeweler who repaired it and inspected the prong settings of the BEAUTIFUL and well made ring that my husband bought me- and they assured me that the quality of my ring was top tier- it’s just a shame that I picked a shoddy jewelry...
Read moreHad a engagement ring rezised before I was to fly out to see my fiance in the Philippines and it came back completely lopsided in the band with one side of the scroll work shaved down on one side with small pits in the gold and light scratchs all throughout and the view from the side was even bent off center to the rest of the ring... wasn't even going to bother going back for more damage to it as I was to fly out in a few days..so I preceded to fix my self by painstakingly using small needle files, shaping by hand with fine whetstones and 3000 grit sandpaper and polishing out the pits with a Dremel buffer and then polishing for an hour by hand with mass all purpose metal polish (thank God for my OCD ).i don't even think they used flux when the soldered it. it's still slightly lopsided but nobody but me or an experienced jeweler will notice now. I know where not to go now and will probably buy a identical backup setting to replace the other someday soon. And I won't even respond to a reply from them . I just won't do business with them if and when it comes to her wedding band choose a big brand name store for a proper size adjustment. (Sad part I can't get it fixed or replaced as I had a dead line and is now almost 9000 miles from me and she won't wear it alot because it's still too big) such a irking pain...
