We walked in on a Saturday to see if they had spots available— the male owner told us they didn’t have spots but that we could come in the next day at 8AM to secure a spot and that they would be wide open. He was kind and even offered to show us the hot spring.
We come in the next morning at 8AM since the only accept reservations the day of and in person— we ask for a slot and they said the next available slot is booked until the afternoon (far past our check out and the time we need to leave). I asked when they opened and she said 7AM (very rudely btw, I believe her name was Bree) We totally wasted an hour because the owner told us they opened AT 8am.
I even recall he hesitated at saying 8AM the day before— the entire situation seems like he purposely told us the wrong hour to avoid allowing us to use the hot spring. We are currently on a roadtrip for the hot springs and this was supposed to be a highlight of the trip.
This company absolutely only prioritizes who they want to— why else would a company only allow you to make the reservation, DAY OF and in person. We were there yesterday and they denied...
