Once upon a time I took the Winter Garden Walking Food Tour- it was great! During our delicious adventure, we wondered into the Winter Garden Farmer's Market & I sampled Kimchi by John Tran. Honestly, I don't care for fermented food items, but his Kimchi was flavorful. He is now able to be found at the Clermont Farmers Market... I also got to try his home-made peanut sauce & WOW! I will never buy peanut sauce from a grocery store again. I call/text John about a week + in advance to ensure he'll have enough for my order and it's ready & waiting for me... As far as the rest of the market? It's NOT your typical farmers market. Yes, there are 1-2 small booths with fresh veggies. A fish vendor (which, maybe it's me, but I don't feel safe buying fish that's been out all day in coolers) a local beef vendor- never bought from him. Fresh bread bakers. Jerusalem street food. Farm fresh eggs - very pricey (& chicks,) but no complaints as to egg quality. Mini cheesecakes, pickles, empanadas, smoothies, teas, heavily (too heavily) flavored hot cocoa in the fall/winter, and a macaroon cookie lady. The rest of the market is made up of a bunch of artisans selling their wares like: spare golf clubs, knife sharpening, travel mugs, novelty character terrariums, ribbon wreaths, doggy scarves, (not hand-made) jewelry, (also not hand-made) leather bags, (ugly tie-die/hawaiian) shirts & moo-moos, travel mugs, cutting boards, etc. Oh & the BEST saxophone player! I went to buy his CD yesterday, but he wasn't there :( Vendors come & go. Market gets 2 stars, but bc of Kimchi Jogn & the sax...

So now I will use Media and State Reps to force them comply for your safety. Looking forward to Sunday.
I loved the Sunday walks and fresh foods until I was shocked to see about 50 plus vendors there, ONLY 1 wearing masks or had sanatizer out!! Who ever sets up this used to be great event should really be ashamed of the vendors who aren't even social distacing. I took my drand daughter and left ASP Filing a formal complaint first thing Monday Morning with health dept. Fix the problem and stop being part of it. Concerned citizen...
Read moreThe Clermont Farmers Market is an absolute must-visit event! The sheer variety is incredible, ranging from fresh seafood and specialty items to a tempting assortment of various sweets—it is truly so worth it! Our family particularly loved the delicious culinary stops this trip. The Italian food from Corellis was a truly memorable and delicious experience, and we paired it perfectly with the incredibly refreshing freshly squeezed lemon juice available at the Main Street vendor. My whole family loves the energy and atmosphere of the market, providing the perfect opportunity to try so many unique food options from the various food trucks. Don't let this fantastic community event...
