Dobama Theatre — Attraction in Cleveland Heights

I've been to Dobama twice and thought both productions I attended were very high-quality. The actors and actresses here are solid. They mold themselves well into their characters. The facility itself is beautiful and has seating that allows each person to have a very good view. When I've visited bigger theatres, I've missed the great seating and more intimate environment that Dobama offers, although I like the larger venues too. The staff here is quite nice, as well. This is an A+ place all the way around. The only thing that could be considered even the least bit negative about the two performances I attended was that the endings were a bit difficult for me to understand. Five stars for ON THE GRILL. I saw this play tonight at the Dobama Theater and would highly recommend it to everyone. Everything about the show was very professional and very authentic. The props, sets and costumes made me feel I was actually celebrating Independence Day with the family and their friends.

The actors were each suited to the roles they played and made the characters come alive.

I've attended multiple shows at Dobama Theatre in the past year, and I am never disappointed. It's truly Cleveland's Off-Broadway Theatre, producing high-quality work for EVERYONE to enjoy. I'm an artist who doesn't didn't really like live theatre (sad, I know), but that perception shifted every time I went to a Dobama show. The audiences are of all ages too.
