Honestly, the service was poor. Mistakes on orders, some things never came out, slow, unresponsive... Not rude, but not good. Whatever. 2/10

The food started interesting. The dill pickle potato and bacon soup came as advertised. Too much dill going on. 3/10 but if you love dill probably higher for you. The consistency was not thick at all.

And then something happened. The crispy hot chicken sandwich. Order this. This damn sandwich was the best thing I've had at a restaurant in a very long time. Easily my favorite sandwich ever. Incredible. Crispy, with a tasty sauce. Buns were perfection. I took the tomato off because it was unnecessary. Get this sandwich

And the buffalo wings were absolutely top notch. Crispy. Probably overcooked for some people but that's how we like them with a great hot sauce

If it wasn't for the sandwich, we'd probably not go back but it was worth all the inconsistent...

Giving this place 5 star based on my first experience here with my girlfriend last night. First off, our server did an amazing job even though he was handling the entire outdoor patio (probably around 10 tables). We were served our drinks quickly, then appetizers (tavern fries, MUST TRY) and then the food came out at the perfect time once we were finished. All I have to say is the food is exactly what you want it to be, and then some. The portion size is literally perfect, definetely be hungry when you come here, they do not dissapoint. I got the turkey burger and I was very suprised at how juicy and thick this thing was, it came with carmalized onions and peppers and i mean cmon.....it was FIRE, so so good. My girlfriend got the veggie burger and this thing was hands down the BEST veggie burger we had ever had. The multi grain bread was toasted to perfection, the veggie burger is homemade, its HUGE, and absolutely delicious with the sauce and spinach. Will be back weekly for good vibes...

I’m pretty sure what our waitress did to us was super illegal. She charged us more than our final bill stated. We thought we had ordered three drinks and the waitress thought four. She brought out the $75 4 drink check, which we disputed, to which she said “it’s fine you had four but we’ll only charge you for three, okay?” So she takes the check away and brings out a new 3 drink $68 tab. We pay that and leave a cash tip. Should have been charged $68. The next day we see we were charged the $75. She used our credit card information to charge us a bill that we didn’t sign and pay for—we signed and paid for the $68 on the table that night like she told us would happen. She went back and instead of processing the bill she gave us she fraudulently charged us more. She was middle aged and had black hair and was kind of tall.

Not only is this illegal, it is rude and demoralizing. We’ve been eating at Brennan’s and the Tavern for forever and never have we had an...
