Cleveland Clinic - Glickman Tower — Attraction in Cleveland

This review is exclusively for the Functional Medicine department. I will add to this when I have more time but wanted to start this. If you’re considering this department, you should know that the doctors are great but the support staff, at least the nurse and some MAs, have been very unprofessional and it’s an embarrassment to Cleveland Clinic. I wish I could post copies of the messages they have sent to me. I am filing complaints to the highest levels because this is that bad.

To have such great doctors with such an awful support team is wild to me. I have dealt with several other departments at Cleveland Clinic and their teams have been great. It’s specifically the functional medicine department that cannot seem to hire qualified staff (not including the doctors - mine is awesome). Also, the front desk staff is great but the nurse and some MAs are not. It will take them days and sometimes over a week to even forward your messages to the doctor. They will login to your chart and cancel your appointments with zero communication. The way they communicate with patients is as if they never received any training and it’s shocking they work in this field.

It’s such a poor reflection on Cleveland Clinic, something has to be said. I will be sharing more on social media about this...

This is a BEYOND large clinic. They got so many buildings for everything you can think of. They even hand out maps because its so big and has so many buildings. You do pay for parking but its not super costly. They also have smaller CCs in other cities.

Problem is Cosgrove cars more about money then people. He hires/fires all the time. He wants doctors that are willing to see you for five minutes and boot you out for the next patient. Its a constant stream of patients. So sure your first visit they schedule it within a week or two. But after that they don't care. Your appointments can be weeks if not months down the road.

My eye doctor I seen there after the second visit they told me next open slot was 4 months away. Really? I see alot of people go there because its a known world wide place. Including celebs and rich people from the United Eremites. I assume they maybe pay something under the table since they always get in right away and get treated like stars.

Again, don't get me wrong I love CC because everyone is in one place, they all talk to each other and alot of great technology at CC. But you really feel worthless like a nobody after you go...

It's the best of the best when it comes to serious health issues they're not a training hospital like the one in Akron so you get the Drs that have knowledge due to how long they have been working in their position only thing that I didn't like was after my procedure he came in to discuss the results and halfway through the conversation he gets a cell phone call and answered it in front of us and he said to the person on the other line that he was just thinking about them asked us to hold on and walked out of the room and never came back to finish the results so we just left after waiting a half hour for him to return.
