I was doing virtual classes at another gym (it's just so easy to fit into my day) but they put them on hiatus. :(
Found great virtual options at One to One on the Mindbody app. Tried a Friday Strength class with Curtis - it was great! Clear instructions - easy to hear. What a wonderful way to power up your lunch hour. Will be back! Looking forward to trying more classes.
I do wish more of the Pilates classes started at 7:30 or 8am during the week but I just like early classes...
Update: I love both Ava and Elaine for Zoom Pilates. Gotta say that Ava is brutal if you're newish to Pilates Mat (I'd only been doing it about 6 months when I tried her) and she does say to modify. I couldn't do a lot of it... but I stuck with her and am so proud of myself. It's also improved my back pain. Oh and Elaine is no slouch either - she calls it "sneaky core work" for a reason! If you wanna see your obliques - check these...
Read moreMy only experience with One to One was attempting to obtain some passes as a new customer to the gym through Bryn, who i believe is a manger. Nearly all of my communication with her was via email. Now given my experience with One to One and Bryn I an forced to review their level of customer service as extremely low. After attempting to obtain some passes and being promised them on more than one occasion and multiple months passing with little to no progress and little to no communication from One to One or Bryn. Despite my numerous attempts to keep her on task and to simply finish what she committed to, I ultimately withdrew my request for the new gym passes. And to no surprise I received no response from One to One or Bryn. In summary One to One has, in my humble opinion a number of improvements to be made to build a better foundation of quality customer service to generate a larger base of...
Read moreThe real perk of joining One-to-One is the unparalleled customer service. Every time I arrive, I am consistently greeted with a smile and a sincere hello. If I have a question or concern, management, especially Bryn, the director, is always right on top of it. She finds a way to make every guest feel like an integral part of the One-to-One fitness experience to maximize the experience. The employees often appear to take great pride in their work, especially in terms of cleanliness. There is always someone with a rag or a broom in hand to ensure the highest sanitary considerations. Although the facility is older and could you some upgrades in terms of the group fitness space, all-in-all, it's a wonderful environment and one I would strongly encourage checking out. As I relocate from Cleveland, I will miss the...
