I recently had the pleasure of photographing a wedding ceremony at Amasa Stone Chapel at Case Western Reserve University, and it was an unforgettable experience! This historic chapel boasts stunning architecture, with beautiful glass windows and intricate details that create a breathtaking atmosphere for any ceremony. The ambiance inside was both intimate and elegant, providing a perfect backdrop for capturing the couple’s special moments. The natural light streaming through the windows added a magical touch to the photographs, enhancing the romantic vibe of the day. The staff at Amasa Stone Chapel were incredibly helpful and accommodating, ensuring that everything went smoothly. Their professionalism made the day stress-free for both the couple and the vendors. Overall, Amasa Stone Chapel is a remarkable choice for couples looking for a beautiful and unique ceremony space. I highly recommend it for any wedding!

Amasa Stone Chapel on the campus of Case Western Reserve University was completed in 1910. I was just at the chapel for the 2025 Inamori Ethics Prize presentation to Oscar Chacón. The main stained glass window with the crucifixion in the center surrounded by scores of hagiographic characters dominates the religious space. The pipes of the organ are an impressive sight. I am an alumnus of Western Reserve College and used to attend and participate in the folk masses celebrated here in the early 1970's. I am posting an article from the Plain Dealer about the University Christian Movement's Community that was based in this chapel.
