I've been going to Mansi Barbershop for three years, and let me tell you, this place is the holy grail of haircuts. The moment I walked in for the first time, I knew I'd found the one—and I’m not talking about my soulmate (though these fades are pretty close).
The barbers here are absolute wizards with clippers. Honestly, I’m not even sure they’re human. I’m convinced they have a PhD in Fadeology and a black belt in Beard Design. Every haircut feels like a work of art, and somehow, they manage to make me look like I have my life together—even if my biggest accomplishment that day was getting out of bed.
The vibe in the shop? Immaculate. It’s laid-back and welcoming. Instead of everyone knowing your name, they know exactly how you like your hair. Want to chat about your imaginary pet cheetah or the latest drama with the girl next door? They’re game. Had a long day and just want to close your eyes and zone out? They’re cool with that too. Whatever your mood, you’ll walk out feeling fresh and like a brand-new person.
And let’s talk about consistency—three years, and not a single bad cut. Their work is as steady and reliable as a blue-chip stock, but every time I walk out, I feel like a hot tech stock on the rise—sharp, fresh, and commanding attention.
If you want to look good, feel good, and have people constantly asking where you get your fade, Mansi Barbershop is the spot.
10/10 recommend. Five stars. Standing ovation. Maybe even a parade. These folks...
Read moreI’m honestly not sure what the hype about this place is… the haircut was average at best and had several major problems: My side part was moved higher without asking or checking. I never asked to have it moved and specifically said no when asked if I wanted a hard part/shaved line. This is going to take months to grow back and will make my hair stick up in the meantime. The back of my fade was never blended in - it literally went from skin to dark hair. The barber made some excuse about it being because of where the bone ridge is on the back of my head. I have gotten the same fade from multiple barbers who have never had a problem with it - everyone has some sort of ridge from the bone… Also if you think there’s going to be an issue with the haircut it’s your job as the barber to realize that and let your client know, not hide it and hope they never ask. The top of my hair was cut way too short. I had asked for an undercut/disconnected side part, meaning I didn’t want that part of my hair completely blended into the sides. Instead, he said it’ll look better blended and then completely cut it flush (and uneven to the front). If your client is asking for a specific style you should just do that instead of suggesting and doing the complete opposite. I had a 7pm appointment, got there at 6:55, and didn’t leave until 8. This isn’t ok especially if you make an appointment, and there’s no way a basic haircut should take more...
Read moreAfter 25 years of going to the same NYC barber, finding a new one was challenging and nerve-wracking. Based on positive feedback, I decided to try Mansi’s Barbershop, and it has been my go-to spot ever since.
Mansi is highly skilled, consistently delivering quality cuts that match the high standards of my old barber. He listens carefully to my preferences and executes fades, blends, and tapers with precision. I’ve also gone to some of the other barbers on his team, and they are also talented and professional.
The shop is clean and offers a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. If you're particular about your haircut and want top quality in a friendly setting, Mansi’s Barbershop is definitely worth checking out. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for skilled professionals and...
