The best gym so far since I have been going there for the last five years getting a hard core cardiovascular workout and doing the thirty minutes zones which includes you to change stations every time when the red light pop ups but when the green light pop ups you must begin the exercise without hesitation. It has been a fun and incredible since I signed up for the Black Card zone three years ago and it allows me to go into the massage room to sit back and take away the anxiety. Lately, I have been at my best and also at my worst when things tend to get unpredictably strange when you talk to certain people and everything gets out of control when you are trying to reason with them over a overwhelming process of time. I have been going there for weeks and by the end of the year, I am going to become the strongest bodybuilder to make a solution and declare what is right for my mind and my body. This too shall pass! Good things must come to a end but let's face it we are just beginning. Amen!

This place is filthy. I always rate gyms on their bathrooms. For the most part, gym fitness areas are usually maintained by the customers with some effort from the staff. However, the bathrooms are completely maintained by staff. So you can quickly tell a productive staff from a lazy one. This PF has one of the filthiest bathrooms I’ve ever seen in the north-east. Both stalls had paper toilet on and around the bowl. The floor also had paper (usually covering urine). They have 4 showers but only 3 shower curtains and 1 hook to hang your towel. That’s 1 hook total. The shower walls are shower walls are caked in mildew. I’m assuming they don’t clean the walls because the dirt blends in with the dark colors in the bathroom. Everything in the bathroom is black, brown, or grey, like a prison. Even the lighting is dark. I’m pretty sure these color choices were made to conceal. Go if you want, you’ve been warned.

I missed coming to Planet Fitness and I am looking forward to coming back to the gym one of these days. I am so sorry for taking people's photos of the ladies while they were working out. Can I please come back to the gym one of these days. I believe I learned my lesson.

So... joined last month and haven't had time to work out yet because of my very busy schedule. Went today and was told I couldn't work out or get my tag because I didn't have a cancelled check. I told them I don't use checks at all, I'm completely paperless (it is 2017 after all). I pay all bills online, with a credit card, or auto pay. I asked to speak to the manager, who had no information or logical explanation at all. I had my routing number and account numbers, 6 major credit cards, and agreed to sign a bank draft authorization form, all of which were not acceptable to him! He said I had to go to my bank (which is closed now), and get a form from them... WTH!!! I told him I wanted to speak to the owner since he said it was not a corporate owned Planet Fitness and he said the owner doesn't speak to customers- REALLY?! Now that's impressive. I then told him I don't patronize companies where owners hide from their clients and asked him to cancel my membership and refund any money they took from my bank. I was told he could not do that. Of course, my next question was obvious... if you say you aren't authorized to withdraw money from my account without the form you want me to go get from my bank, then how did you take my money? He said to email the regional manager! I said I've never even been in the gym, and signed up online, yet is answer was I don't know if they will give you a refund (but I'm not allowed to use the gym)! I pay all my bills by way of auto pay or credit card but this owner won't do what EVERY other business will do! Shady, ignorant, and obviously is scared of people canceling! That speaks volumes of how this business is operating. I will happily pay more to go to a real gym now. STAY AWAY FROM...

pros: there is ALWAYS cardio equipment available. it’s a relatively large building and the layout is decent. they have a ton of different machines. cheap membership. people of all shapes and sizes work out here so there’s not an atmosphere of pressure. you just do whatever you want.

cons: staff is kind of unhelpful. the first time I went I had to ask the guy where the locker rooms were. they employ kids (nothing wrong with that, just seems like they don’t care that much LOL). girl with the blue hair is nice though. there is NOT enough space in the back room for floor exercises/free weights. you can’t move around at all. MAYBE 3 people can fit mats at once, otherwise it’s uncomfortable. if they knocked down the walls separating the 2 weight areas they would have way more space for this. in my opinion, this is the worst part because you have no other area and everyone doing machines is directly behind you... sometimes awkward. it’s crowded. i’m sure it’s worse during peak hours but i’m not going to the gym at 4:30 am. crowds aren’t surprising given the cheap membership which brings me to my next point: VERY young adults go here with their friends. probably high schoolers. they crowd around one machine for a while so you can’t use it until they all walk away. not a big deal, just slightly annoying.

all in all it’s not bad. it’s not great but it’s not horrible either. it’s sufficient if you want to get in shape without paying a ridiculous...

First, I was never informed that by joining this location I would be restricted to only the Clifton and woodland park locations for unlimited access. Any other location you're only allowed free 10 visits follow by a $5 charge after every visit. Because they aren't the same franchise. Then I'm informed I'm not allowed to change franchises until I reach a 90 day period. So I reach my 10 free visits at the Fairfield location and decide let me try the Clifton one (only other time I've visited this location was when I signed up) I walk in, it's super humid & and a little smelly, fine I got past that based on the fact that there's a lot of people working out here. I lock my things in the locker, go onto cardio and then to weights. I'm doing lateral pull downs on the machine closest to the back wall & the seat drops from under me, TWO TIMES, I switch machines and finish the set. Then I go onto the assisted pull up machine, this machine was so wobbly that I felt it was going to tip over. I got off the machine. Half the machines are abused and run down. I go into the locker room to get my stuff and leave. BOOM someone broke my lock and robbed me for the money in my wallet. This was at about 11pm last night. No manager there. No big deal, I was told he's in 9am-5pm.. I come in, I would say about 11:50am & no manager again. A young girl said she was the assisting manager. She wasn't any help. I don't recommend coming here or joining this gym or...
