To say I had a bad experience would be an understatement. I usually donāt take time out of my day to leave bad reviews. I donāt see the point but today calls for one. Had the unfortunate pleasure with speaking with the manager, Josephine, who was not only condescending and rude. She was truly unhelpful and didnāt see where I was coming from. I placed an order the day before for pick up. I get an email the next morning saying half of my order has been canceled and no one notified me But fine I let it be because things happen. So then my remaining items say ready for pick up, knowing I wouldnāt be able to make it to the store, I tried adding an alternative pick up person on the app. It kept glitching and saying invalid information not allowing me to add another pick up person. So I sent my boyfriend with my email confirmation and my ID which Iāve done many times in the past once he gets there, they tell him he canāt pick anything up because heās not added as a pick up person. He explained to them what happened since the app had been glitching and not letting me add somebody else. They essentially say that thatās not their problem and that I have to come in so I go ahead and call the store and see what I can do since this problem doesnāt lie on my end, but it lies on Ulta since theyāre app isnāt working. They tell me the same thing and I go ahead and explain to them how this is never been a problem in the past so itās not the first time this has happened and itās not the first time that Iāve allowed somebody else to pick up my order by just calling the store. The manager Josephine gets an attitude with me and says thereās nothing she can do to call customer service. I call customer service and they tell me to speak with the manager that they can overwrite this which again she refused to do. At the end of all of this, I had to go and pick up my order myself once I got there, she completely changed her demeanor. All of this was very frustrating not only for the inconvenience, but because they were trying to make it seem like it was my fault and I was wasting their time. I also asked him about a perfume or cologne that I bought for my husband, which I thought was only purchased about three months ago and come to find that it was actually purchased in November, which is a good seven months ago . so my question was that I tried to return it about a week after I purchased it to my local Ulta and the person said that thereās no return on colognes or perfumes but rather if my husband just sprayed a little bit on his wrist and then didnāt touch it didnāt rub it in then the scent would change. While I was skeptical, I said OK so since thereās no return policy on the cologne, which I didnāt even check, I just took her word and then I went back home and told my husband. Itās still smelled very badly on him. It just did not mix well with his chemistry and I was traveling a lot and I just couldnāt be bothered doing anything with it until today when I thought to ask about it.. so I understand the return policy I get it. It was so pricey though at almost $300. I feel like Iām at such a loss with it. When I get back to my usual store, I will ask them to see if thereās anything at all that they could do for me. I called in advance to ask if there was a particular location for me to park since I know this specific Ulta is in a very busy plaza with limited and tight parking. The representative told me that I could park anywhere for the curbside option since they do not have designated curbside parking spaces. When I went it started snowing a bit outside and I had my toddler with me. Curbside is the best option for me when I have my baby. When I got there, I did my best to find a spot close to Ulta so the representative didnāt have to walk so far to find my car. I followed the instructions from the email I received and waited a good 20 minutes until called the store to try to notify someone that nobody had come out with the one item I ordered. I called three times and nobody answered. I finally took my baby out of the carseat and walked in the store. I didnāt say anything to the girl that helped me because I just wanted to get my item and leave. Well she nor two other workers couldnāt locate my order even though I showed all of them my confirmation email. Come to find out someone dropped the ball and didnāt put it together so I had to wait even longer until I was able to receive my item. This is THE WORST location for curbside and this service doesnāt even work here so donāt bother with it. Go somewhere else. This whole experience was such an inconvenience.
