I don’t go to the movies often, but a few days ago me and my friends decided to go see the new avatar movie. The movie time was 7:45pm, we showed up 10 minutes late at 7:55. Once we walked up to the doors we were told they weren’t selling tickets anymore as they’ve closed the registers. I informed the employee I purchased the tickets online and get directed to a kiosk to print tickets. Then we get told we aren’t allowed any concessions as they’ve closed the registers. For a 3 hour movie it definitely wasn’t ideal to have no water and have to get up to go find a water fountain to get a drink when thirsty. My last complaint is that the movie volume could have been a bit louder but I’m unsure if that’s the theaters fault or the movies. I think the customer service could have been a lot better and they should have left the concessions open a bit longer than 10 minutes after the final showing of the night started. Besides that the theatre was in good condition, seats were comfy and bathrooms were clean. I hope for others sake this was a one time thing, otherwise, I’d recommend not going for the last showing...
Read moreI like this theater, but their new "luxury recliner" experience was ruined by thieves. You pay like $1 extra for these shows, get reclining seats and can pick your seat (even shows on a screen which seats are sold) It sounds great in theory.
In practice however, I bought my ticket, and the seat I paid for was taken...the unsold seat directly next to it was taken as well...so now there's the choice of either confronting the thieves, going back and complaining at the register, or sitting somewhere else and potentially taking the seat of another paying customer.
It only takes a few thieves to make the whole system unravel, as it starts a chain reaction of people being displaced into other people's seats and a bunch of people who can't sit where they paid.
Anyways, to the couple who was seated in Theater 7 C5 andC6 at the 7:30pm show of John Wick 4 on 3/26/2023, I hope you guys enjoyed the show I paid for. You'd think people without tickets would try to be subtle and sit in a back corner or something, but you two were bold and stole seats front and...
Read moreWe've patronized this theater since its establishment years ago. For years it wowed us with cutting edge equipment and great quality. However, there have been significant (enough to take away from the film) audio/visual issues with at least the past three films I've seen. For two (StarWars 7 and Silence), the volume was simply too low to make out all the dialogue and forced me to strain. Last night I saw Dunkirk, and none of us could believe how small of a projection we were seeing! I use no hyperbole when I say the picture really only filled 2/3 of the screen. We know the theater personnel noticed, because they pulled the curtains inward to create the illusion of a larger picture. Again, the small picture seriously took away from a great film--a film highly dependent on a large picture. These issues were extremely frustrating, but hopefully they can straighten things out...
