Perkins American Food Co. — Restaurant in College Township

The food was good and the service staff was pleasant. This establishment was clean and the restroom was well-attended. However, when I was eating a separately plated order of tater tots I discovered a piece of egg shell on the plate under the food. I told the waitress, and eventually management came to our table, apologized for the problem, saying they are busy and sometimes mistakes happen. I commented that I understand, however, how about the issue of cross-contamination especially with raw eggs. No reply. The manager offered to take off our bill the cost of the tater tots. He returned to our table and commented that he gave us a 30% discount on our bill. I thanked him and told him I appreciated the discount. He left our table, I took the time to compare the new bill with the old one and discovered we indeed got the discount, however, on the new bill there was no printed area where the restaurant provides a phone number to take a survey and provide information about your experience and no offer of a future 10% discount on your next visit to the restaurant for...

Today we came into Perkins for a late dinner after getting off work. Our food came out in okay time and was really good once we started eating. It was great until I found a piece of plastic in my food. My server was very understanding funny even. The manager never came to our table to check on what happened. A cook cake into the dining room I guess to see what table had complained. It’s a small restaurant when he came out I immediately knew it was to see us at the table. That happens in restaurants though. What I didn’t like was after he left I heard him say “sucks to suck right dude” Our server ordered my food again at my request to go. I got home and started eating and realized that the people in the kitchen must have been mad that I ordered my food again because this time it tasted as if they added extra pepper just to get back at me for wanting my food made again. The first plate was perfect except the plastic. I’m just very disappointed as someone that is a cook myself at my job to be treated in such a disrespectful way. I don’t think I’ll be going back to Perkins...

Usually when I eat here it's an enjoyable experience. This was not the case on 18 January 2019. I arrived at 9pm, and it took the waitress 40 minutes just to take my order, then when the food finally came it was missing the French dipping sauce, and when I could finally get my waitress to finally acknowledge me to get the sauce, my food was cold. I waited my entire meal for a refill of my beverage, and wanted to get dessert, but the waitress was too busy flirting with a guy the whole time I was there to even be bothered by my needs as a customer. The reciet says her name is Julianne, and the number beside her name is 441. I feel betrayed as a veteran who gives repeated business to this store, #2647, and it is unlikely I will return...
