Springs Korean Market — Attraction in Colorado Springs

I used to purchase my kimchi at a different korean grocery store but they’ve since closed down so I was on the hunt for some great kimchi. I happen to be really picky in the taste quality when buying kimchi.. I really don’t like fish sauce in my kimchi because i have found it alters the taste especially when to much is put in. After reading several reviews regarding this place’s kimchi, I figured why not try it. Oh man this place’s kimchi is amazingly delicious!! It tastes even better then the place I used to buy my kimchi. I was surprised fish sauce was one of the ingredients because I wasn’t able to taste it.. The kimchi wasn’t bland, you can taste the salt but it’s not too much salt.. just the right amount. The spice level is spot on. It definitely tasted really fresh.. Make sure you have the time to wait to cash out. She took two calls and walked away both times, as I was waiting to cash out. Also they will not make any adjustments on their meat selections. You have to buy the entire prpe-weighted meat selections, which was too much for 1 person. I was quite disappointed. They had no fresh vegetables, as they had in the past. Otherwise, they have a nice selection of various goods...

They are very friendly and you can tell they care about their customers. The first time we went, they were closed but the owner saw us outside and opened the store for us to shop.
