We were there mid afternoon on a Saturday. They had obviously been through a recent rush and aere catching back up. Our cashier was so busy asking about her break she didn't really listen to our order, I kept trying to make sure she understood, but hasvthe feeling she didn't get it right. There were a few orders ahead of ours and the moment she gave us our change she was out thedoor other break. While e were waiting after about 5 minutes, I heard another worker tell the customer ahead of us that they were cooking the spicy. Chicken and it would be about 8 minutes before it was ready. I wondered why he didn't also talk to me but I waited to see what came next. They got the orders in front of us done and after they gave the customer I heard them talk to their order, they gave the people that were after us their order. So we asked the about our order and the guy at the register couldn't find the ticket. We showed him our receipt and he apo,ogized and immediately put the order together. I double checked the order in the car because my husband will not eat the spicy chicken, and I don't liked ark meat. Sure e ough, thedark was spicy and the white was not.i went back inside and told him it was wrong and told him again what we wanted and he began boxing more chicken, I saw him grab a spicy leg and told him again wbite meat spicy dark regular, and he finally g⅗ot it right. What didn't notice until we go home was one order was supposed to be Mac and cheese for the side and the other Cole slaw, the got the Cole slaw but it was warm and had obviously not been refrigerated for several hours the cabbage was wilted,. The other side was mashed potatoes with no gravy at all, and the biscuits were dry and truly cold to the touch. I understand it gets hectic and things get shuffled in a big rush, but while we were waiting the only person really trying to clean up and restore any kind or order was the guy cooking chicken. He was getting g orders together, frying mu,triple batches of chicken, taking orders, letting other workers have breaks ahead of him and cleaning tables . He was working hard and truly hustling every way he could. He asked the guy at the register to sweep the front area and the guy sais I. Doing orders while she is on break. I ordered two chicken sandwiches on the app. One classic with extra pickles and mayonnaise, and one spicy with extra pickles.
I chose this location because it had the highest rating on Google maps, which was still a measley 3.3 stars at the time of this review.
I arrived right on time, and there was a vehicle ahead of me at the drive thru. There was a very long wait before I heard some back and forth between that vehicle and the worker, then another very long wait. Finally the vehicle pulled ahead.
I waited a few moments for an acknowledgement and received nothing. Finally, I asked, is anyone there? Another long wait. Finally, someone came on and said sorry, just a second. Another several minute wait, she came on again and said sorry, just a second. Several more minutes go by.
Finally she came on and I told her I had a mobile order. She sounded confused and said something I couldn't understand. I decided just to pull around at that point, and the vehicle ahead of me was still at the window waiting.
After several more minutes waiting there, the driver started tapping on the window, and the window opened a few minutes later. I saw nothing exchanged but the window closed and the driver sped off.
I get to the window and she came quickly, handed me a bag with a very confused expression and said nothing before closing the window. Very weird experience. Checked the bag, saw two chicken sandwiches, drove home.
Got home and discover both wrappers say spicy. Not what I ordered. I opened them up and neither sandwich was spicy, neither had extra mayo, both had extra pickles. The real kicker was both were made with three dried up chicken tenders that looked like they were sitting around a long time.
Popeye's tenders are no comparison to the breasts that are supposed to be used for their sandwiches, and at no point was anything mentioned about a substitution.
I'd give this location zero stars based on this experience. It took over twenty minutes to get the wrong food with one car ahead of us.

Read moreDo not us the app to order with this location. I got there with an online order. Pulled up to the window to a employee that said that they do not have my order. I asked for the manager and this brat of a Manger opened the window and proceeded to tell me that they do not have my order and I need to leave. I showed her my emailed receipt and said that I wasn't moving until I had my order. She called the General Manage and said that they said to move or they are calling the police. Eventually I moved to the front of the bukidi g to call Corp for assistance. Then a worker came running out with my receipt and said they messed up and found my order to which I replied that the manager needs to try harder and they should go get my order. After which the Manager decided not to fill the order and didn't even tell me. I had to stop the emp on the parking lot and ask if my order was coming. To which she replied the Manger said that the order has already been picked up and I wasnt getting it. So I had to go inside and the manager then said she had been instructed by the general Manger to not give me my order. I had to have Corporate tell he to give me my order to which she still called the General Manger to get me my food. An hour has passed now and I got the food about an hour and 15min into this visit. This location has major staff problems and all the associates seem to be incompetant and rude. Never has this happened to me at any chain and the Manager and General manager need serious counciling on how to take care of customer concerns and mistakes.
