The Grind Coffee House - Campus — Restaurant in Columbia Township

Came in to order a Caramel Latte, asked for coffee beans and implied to be served in a ceramic Latte cup, but these were without. Why did I want a ceramic cup? To observe the espresso shot they pulled. Did not see an espresso machine in their kitchen coffee area, but it was probably in a location towards the wall. The quality of my Latte is okay, I didn't watch the barista because customers were coming to the counter. The coffee tastes like it was via drip extraction, not through an espresso machine. There are grounds in my cup. Overall the coffee is decent, but not very rich. If the barista did pull a shot, she has room to improve on her technique. The coffee wasn't harsh, but didn't taste very rich. I was going to be specific with my order but didn't want to seem rude. This is not a bad critique of the company, but I'd like my espresso to taste like espresso. A latte is a shot of espresso with a certain amount of frothed milk to ratio of shot. Nothing bad to say about the company, but will be hunting around for quality coffee...
