Been training here a few months I’ve been training for 4 years and traveling while training for this past year I just wanted a place to train while I was in town and I feel very grateful to have found Lycan. I’ve met like a dozen pros since I’ve been here! There is a ton of mat space, many class options to fit my schedule, great coaching and the best thing I might have to say is the camaraderie and friendships that have developed. The team is a TEAM, if I don’t show up for too long, someone is always checking in on me. And I’ve had a few time I’ve needed a ride to class and tournaments and before I can ask, it’s offerer. Upper belts are always dropping advice and techniques. And a few guys do private lessons. Thanks so much guys for treating me so well🙏🏽

When you walk in the door, the amount of trophies speak for themselves. The short time I’ve been trained by Nader has increased my technique by leaps and bounds. The guy is a world class kickboxer and the #1 BJJ brown belt in the world. The facilities are great! There is plenty of mat space and there is a great strength/physio section as well. The atmosphere made me feel like I was at home from day one. The motto there is “Champions Dominate“. I learned it doesn’t mean you have to be the absolute best. It means you need to push yourself to become the best that YOU can be. If you want to get in shape, learn from the best, or become an ultimate beast I highly suggest that you give Lycan a try.

One of my favorite places in Columbia to train. The Owner Nader consistently has amazing seminars and training. Everything here is top notch. I get around to a lot of tournaments and Lycan's fighters are always on the podiums winning medals. The coaching available here is second to none. My only wish is that I lived closer to train here more often. My kids love coming in here just as much as I do and it really gives you a feeling of home when you train here. 10/10 I'd recommend Lycan MMA to anyone considering starting their journey and even more so to those looking to take their training to the next level.

I have known Lycan MMA’s owner, Nader Tannir, for the better part of four years now, and it is my privilege to call him a close friend. We met while we were both serving in the Army National Guard, and I knew right away that he was no ordinary soldier. He quickly distinguished himself as a natural-born leader: one who leads with empathy, intelligence, and a deep passion for helping others become the best versions of themselves. He was a service member who set the bar high and lived out the Army values daily, and the way he runs Lycan MMA is no different.

Nader is devoted to helping his students improve their abilities in Brazilian Jujitsu [“BJJ”], kickboxing, and strength & conditioning. Moreover, he is an eminently qualified coach, trainer, and martial artist, and I frequently seek his advice when it comes to my own physical health and training. He commits significant time, energy, and resources to marshaling his students’ success in their chosen training form, all while running the business side of Lycan MMA with competence and professionalism.

There are no more capable hands in which you could entrust your training in BJJ, kickboxing, and/or strength & conditioning...

I’ve been training at Lycan MMA for a while now, and it’s been a fantastic experience. The first thing that stands out is the cleanliness—hygiene is a top priority here, which is something I really appreciate. The atmosphere is super friendly, so whether you’re a beginner or more advanced, you’ll feel right at home.

Their approach to training is a bit different from other places I’ve been to. There’s a strong focus on drilling and live rolling, which has really helped me improve my technique and apply what I learn in real situations. It’s not just about learning 100 moves but really understanding how to execute them under pressure.

Another big plus is that they frequently bring in high-level practitioners for seminars. It’s a great opportunity to learn from some of the best in the game and pick up new skills and perspectives.

Overall, if you’re looking for a place that’s clean, welcoming, and serious about jiu-jitsu, I’d highly recommend...

I can't say enough great things about Lycan Mixed Martial Arts and Professor Nader! Professor Nader is not only an incredibly skilled and knowledgeable instructor but also a patient and motivating coach who genuinely cares about the progress of each student. The atmosphere is welcoming for everyone, whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced practitioner. The classes are well-structured, with a perfect balance of technique, drilling, and live rolling. Professor Nader has a unique way of breaking down complex techniques into simple, easy-to-understand steps, making learning both fun and effective. The team at Lycan MMA is supportive, respectful, and always willing to help each other improve. It's a great place to train, get in shape, and build confidence. If you're looking for a top-notch BJJ gym with a positive vibe and world-class instruction, Lycan Mixed Martial Arts is the place to be....
