I have known Lycan MMA’s owner, Nader Tannir, for the better part of four years now, and it is my privilege to call him a close friend. We met while we were both serving in the Army National Guard, and I knew right away that he was no ordinary soldier. He quickly distinguished himself as a natural-born leader: one who leads with empathy, intelligence, and a deep passion for helping others become the best versions of themselves. He was a service member who set the bar high and lived out the Army values daily, and the way he runs Lycan MMA is no different.
Nader is devoted to helping his students improve their abilities in Brazilian Jujitsu [“BJJ”], kickboxing, and strength & conditioning. Moreover, he is an eminently qualified coach, trainer, and martial artist, and I frequently seek his advice when it comes to my own physical health and training. He commits significant time, energy, and resources to marshaling his students’ success in their chosen training form, all while running the business side of Lycan MMA with competence and professionalism.
There are no more capable hands in which you could entrust your training in BJJ, kickboxing, and/or strength & conditioning...
Read moreI’ve been training at Lycan MMA for a while now, and it’s been a fantastic experience. The first thing that stands out is the cleanliness—hygiene is a top priority here, which is something I really appreciate. The atmosphere is super friendly, so whether you’re a beginner or more advanced, you’ll feel right at home.
Their approach to training is a bit different from other places I’ve been to. There’s a strong focus on drilling and live rolling, which has really helped me improve my technique and apply what I learn in real situations. It’s not just about learning 100 moves but really understanding how to execute them under pressure.
Another big plus is that they frequently bring in high-level practitioners for seminars. It’s a great opportunity to learn from some of the best in the game and pick up new skills and perspectives.
Overall, if you’re looking for a place that’s clean, welcoming, and serious about jiu-jitsu, I’d highly recommend...
