This homebrew store is great! It has everything you need for all the different kinds of home fermentation or brew projects you can think of, and some that you couldn't think of before walking in. I didn't think I would be so excited walking into a store that sells supplies, but I was totally wrong. A few things you can get supplies for at Maryland Homebrew: - Honey for mead making + all the parts and supplies - Yeast for all kinds of brews - Beer making kits for gifts for the hobbyist (versus all the other parts for people who have whole setups at home) - Mushroom growing kits - Kombucha scoby - Cider presses - Hot sauce making kits - Sourdough cultures - Vinegar mothers - Yogurt cultures - Cheesemaking supplies - Kimchi/saurkraut/fermented or pickled vegetable making There is probably more - that was just the list of stuff I was personally excited about.

I was recently having a clear out in my store in Cambridge,UK and found an MDHB sticker. As a homebrewer, and then a newbie in the homebrew business this was always the ultimate store for me. Chris and team deserve all the plaudits you read on Google. As a brew store, it doesn't get better than this. Sticker now proudly displayed over the pond on my store fridge!!

This is a great local homebrew store, very knowledgeable staff and prices comparable to online stores. On occasion they host really great group brew events, they also frequent brewing classes for both beginners and those making the switch to all-grain. The store also sells wine and cheese making supplies, it's really an incredible selection of everything.

Since the start of the new year, I decided to try my hand at homebrewing. I kinda dabbled in it several years ago. This time, I decided to really give it a go. I started with some videos. Then got into the science of it. I was hooked. I remembered the local homebrew store in Columbia, MD. First chance I got I went to their website. Ordered some basic supplies for store pickup. I get to the store and I'm immediately greeted with a very welcoming "How can we help you today?" I have a online pickup order. She said "come this way". Extremely pleasant. I felt very comfortable there. Then it hit me... I might love this place. The more research I did, the more orders I placed for pickup. Every single visit was as pleasant and enjoyable as the previous ones. As I made my first batches, I wanted to expand on them and had questions. This time, I went in without any order placed. When greeted, I stated I had some questions. A delightful gentleman said "come on back, let's talk while I fill an order". I explained what I was attempting and asked for any guidance. Not only did this fine fellow give multiple suggestions but also the science behind them. This man knows his hooch. I didn't just get some information, I got an education. Since that day, I would just show up knowing what I wanted. Still got great conversations and suggestions. I absolutely love this store. It's like a toy store for brew makers. It's AWESOME!! Now I'm there at least once a week. If you're on the fence about trying homebrew, just go in. You will be sooo glad you did. Oh, being a thrifty shopper for items needed for brewing. Your local homebrew store has the best pricing. Just go in and get it. The big online retailer "Am**", are far more expensive. Support your local store and get you some great priced gear and supplies. I have done a ton of comparison and Maryland Homebrew has the best prices. That's why I just go in now. You should do the same. Great prices, huge selection and phenomenal staff makes this a beautiful place to get what you need to get...

Maryland Homebrew is an incredible store for anyone interested in making their own wine, cider, or beer. From equipment to ingredients, they have everything you need and more.

One of the highlights of my visit was their selection of bottles. I was able to find second-hand bottles at a great deal of $4.95, which is perfect for those looking to save a little money on their brewing supplies.

The staff at Maryland Homebrew are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. They assisted me in finding everything I needed for my project, and their expertise made the entire process much smoother.

One of the standout features of Maryland Homebrew is their extensive selection of grains. They have one of the largest selections I've ever seen, making it easy to find exactly what you need for your brew.

Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Maryland Homebrew. The store is well-stocked, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend Maryland Homebrew to anyone looking to start or continue their...
