As a younger person with a preference for contemporary furniture (clean lines, modern sleek style etc), I’ve found that the pickings are very slim in the DMV area. Ive visited up to a dozen other well-known stores in the past, and while some of them had great items, their customer service ranged from basic to impersonal to snobby to flat-out non-existent (especially the pricier ones) - basically what you’d expect from a lot of fancy-schmancy stores. When I discovered Divano a few years ago, their top-notch collection combined with the attentive, personable customer service completely surpassed my expectations. This place is such a breath of fresh air. The owners (husband-and-wife team) are such authentically nice people, a far cry from what you’re used to with other similar stores; they go out of their way to make you feel at home and give you the design recommendations you need, and so does their staff. I don’t often give reviews but truly love Divano Designs! I recently purchased furniture (early 2025) for several rooms as I upgraded my children’s rooms from kids to teens, and converted one to a sitting room.

I discovered Divano Designs about three years ago when I desperately needed kitchen chairs. The quality and service was top notch then, so naturally I returned. The furniture is of excellent quality and tastefully modern. But the service you receive is even better! They are so friendly here, patient, and more importantly, not pushy like other furniture stores!

I worked with Nittoo and he took the time to ensure he understood my needs, worked with me on design options, navigated and resolved a couple issues flawlessly, and delivered an awesome experience! The delivery guys are excellent too!! Things went so well, I ended up purchasing a kitchen table last minute which was delivered with all of my other furniture!

Divano furniture has beautiful designed furniture. My husband and I had a bad experience with another furniture company that didn't have enough chairs in stock for a dining set after we purchased the set. After receiving a refund, we visited Divano and found a beautiful dining set and all the items were in stock. Nitto provided us excellent service from the time we walked in the door to our furniture delivery. I mentioned that I didn't have a dining table and was expecting family during the weekend. We purchased our set on a Tuesday, and Nitto scheduled my furniture delivery the NEXT day! My husband and I were so happy when we left the store that day. We truly appreciated Nitto's service and he accommodated our every need. I would highly recommend this store to anyone in need of furniture.
