In response to your reply:
The mashed potatoes my wife got, I'm asking her if I got it wrong. I'm assuming you at least know your menu but to accuse me if lying is absurd. Look at my reviews, kind of seems like a lot of effort just to shill you. ALL THE FOOD WAS COLD AND THE SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE WE DIDN'T WANT TO COMPLAIN BECAUSE OUR FRIENDS WHO LIVE THERE, HIS WIFE, SUGGESTED YOUR RESTAURANT!!!
Just checked your menu, my apologies, you serve WHIPPED potatoes, that's my mistake, not MASHED potatoes. That just shows your lack of accountability. You had at least one bad table that yesterday, deal with it!
I'm going to warn you right now, it was bad. Didn't know how bad until the next morning. Usually take lots of photos didn't take even one, don't like to be on my phone with guests. Took the one the next day off the rare steak that wasn't eaten. (Edited) Two private estate chefs passing through Colombia Tenn. We have friends that suggested this place. Now to be fair, we know enough that if a place is new you give them at least two weeks to work out the bugs. And when you go NEVER go on a Saturday, go at like 5 on a Tuesday when they are not busy. This was their second Saturday. They need to be open at LEAST 2 months to get Saturday service figured out. (Update, was just told after hanging out with burger 🍔 buddy they opened in April, 24th, 24 so not old but definitely not their second week open, come on guys!!) Cold, is the resounding message here. We started with the bone marrow, our friends have never had it and we wanted them to try it. It was undercooked and cold. My buddy ordered 3 beers with a lime each time, had to walk up to the bar counter and by the second one we just grabbed the lime ourselves after that off the bar from the service trays. I had a bad feeling about this place so decided to keep it simple. I ordered a wedge salad 🥗 and a prime burger with double cheese. The wedge salad was underwhelming, not enough of anything, extra dressing came when there was 4 bites of salad left. My buddy ordered the burger 🍔 too, he knew, both were cold, no double cheese on mine, both buns were not stale, but pretty sure they had sat out on the prep table too long. The ladies ordered truffle fries, you guessed it, cold. 🥶 I didn't want to complain but I did stick up for the fries and told them they were all cold. They got the truffle out kind of fast but me and burger 🍔 buddy had to wait and when the fries 🍟 did come it was one order that we were just expected to share. Which we did, didn't say anything. The steak, 🥩 bone 🦴 in ribeye, cold with no knife. My wife and his wife were sharing it, knife took 4 minutes steak didn't get any warmer in the meantime.... Was also quite rare and was ordered medium. Sides were Mac and cheese, decent but cold , came in a little car iron pan thing, HOW is that cold!!? Mashed potatoes not cold, warm, not hot. Spent $260 for all of us, never again. Burger buddy has a beef 🍖 he just put in his freezer, I'm going over there tonight to show them how steak 🥩 should be done. Now the worst part, my wife has raging Hershey squirts💥 💩 all night long as the icing on the cake. We would have ordered dessert as we usually like to try at least 2, didn't because.... You know. Glad we didn't. There are better places. Burger boy thought wifey was taking us to a place Southern Trey? Haven't been but he says it's consistently good and just down the street. Maybe save yourself the brown 🟤 shorts and just go there. In time maybe they will figure out out. I hope for your sake, dear...
Read moreI'll preface this with, the server, who had only been at Prime & Pint for (3) shifts because he was new, was great. He was attentive, kept checking on drinks and food, and kept up with his table touches while working his shift.
The bald headed manager was terrible. He was rude and threw the server under the bus for mistakes his bartenders and his kitchen staff made.
I was originally charged for (2), 2oz Buffalo Trace pours w/ coke, when I originally ordered a 2oz pour w/ coke in a short glass. The manager (aforementioned above) stated to me, "Oh, they thought it was (2), 2oz pours and the bartenders poured (2), 1.5oz pours." I told the manager, "Well your menu says that you offer a 1oz pour for $5 and a 2oz pour for $10", and all he said was, "I understand. It is his second day, he did not know", as he kept mentioning the server, who by the way, did NOT pour drinks. Being charged twice for one drink, which was verbally told to me I was charged for a 2oz pour, but only got 1.5oz pours, shows they do not care about charging someone for products they did not actually receive.
The server was on top of his steps of service with a proper greet, continual checking in, and being hands-on throughout the time of my visit.
The appetizer took 15 minutes to come to the table, the entree took 35 minutes, and dessert took 25 minutes. Mind you, the restaurant was mediocrely busy for a Friday, but there were open seats throughout the venue the entire time of my visit.
The chef, or what I would assume was a kitchen manager, would keep coming out from the kitchen and going to the expo line, which was in view of public sight, and would pick up tickets, put them back down, go by the bar, talk with staff, and go back into the kitchen. The manager (Aforementioned above) did the same thing, but never would pick up the food and run it to the respective tables.
When I approached the server and told him that my wife and I no longer wanted the dessert due the time it took to get out to the table, he acknowledged, apologized, and then the manager came up behind me and said, "Is there a problem?" I told him that my wife and I no longer wanted the dessert due to the 25 minute time frame (with half the restaurant empty).
The manager came up to the table and said, "Sorry about that. The cookie takes 15 minutes to make", and I responded with, "Well it has been 25 minutes and we waited way longer for everything else as well throughout our visit and y'all aren't busy." The manager again, threw the server under the bus as if the bartender's job and the kitchen's job was also the server's job.
For the timeframe the average guest would wait for their drink, appetizer, and entree, this place is overpriced and not worth the visit.
Also, the fact that the manager, who is to be the leader of this restaurant, stated to me that the bartender poured a 1.5oz bourbon when I was charged for 2oz, shows their lack of ethics, disrespect for the paying clientele, and their transparency with guests who are paying for an experience, or lack of experience I should say.

Read moreI made reservations a month in advance for my wife's birthday and the week of, she tried to change to another restaurant after reading some of the these reviews. Unfortunately, I convinced her to try it.
We came to our 5:30 reservation 5 minutes early and we're promptly seated by the wonderful and sweet front of house who is the only reason I can justify the single star. If not for her, I would want to give 0 if it were an option.
We ordered drinks which came quickly enough and then immediately ordered both appetizers and entrees. We ordered a crab cake to share and each got a filet and split the truffle mac. We were served bread within 10 minutes of seating, but the crab cake took another 15. The crab was very good. The problem was with the steaks.
The filets and mac did not come out until 6:40. Over an hour from when we first sat down and right at an hour from when we first ordered. The filets were dry, bland, and tasteless, as if they were put on the grill without any but of seasoning - not even salt. Speaking of, the grill had to have been heated to 150% of the normal temperature because the char on the steak was incredibly too strong and it tastes like the charcoals had been crumbled on top of them. The actual cook of the steak was decent but incredibly dry. Had it not been the saving grace that was the $5 cowboy butter, it would have been better used for softball practice. The Mac and Cheese was barely warm, likely because it sat on the serving counter for 25 minutes before making it to our table. I can say this for fact because I noticed it sitting there from our table 35 minutes after ordering and thought hopefully "surely that's ours, right?" It was, but didn't make it to us for another 25 minutes.
All the while, we were never checked in on once. The only time in which the server spoke to us were when we ordered drinks, when we ordered entrees, 2 minutes after we finally received our food, and when we were given the bill. We also included a note about my wife's birthday on the reservation and it was not mentioned once and due to the lack of any service, there was never an opportunity to bring it up.
The bill was the most egregious part of the evening. $225 before any gratuity for 2 of their cheaper drinks, 1 appetizers, 2 filets, and 1 side. For that type of money I would hope for a perfectly cooked, juicy steak.
I should have taken my wife's advice and driven three times the distance to Sperry's in Cool Springs. We would've saved time and money while having a much...
