Although this isn't a terrible park, it could use some new attractions. The highlights begin with the walking trail that you could easily lap on a bicycle and the basketball courts. Another great highlight is the addition of large fields for recreational activities and organized teams sports. Where this park really falls off is the fact that the playground is outdated and could use a huge facelift. I mean a park should have swings and teeter totters and things that kids can cooperate with other kids. Instead there's an old play area that isn't very exciting. If you're a creative and can think of some fun ways to use the open space or if you're into sports like basketball or football this is perfect. Read moreThis park is almost finished getting some much-needed parking/paving and electrical upgrades! Nice, 1.25 mile walking path which is also used by bicyclists. Some resting benches along the way, with a couple of entry points to walk down to Blacklick Creek; very pretty! Much of the park has Been turned over to a natural habitat for birds and other Critters, which has changed the face of it quite a bit! Aesthetically, it makes sense, and also from a maintenance standpoint the city workers no longer have to mow probably a hundred plus acres!
