Devil's Head — Attraction in Columbus

We came to visit the park over the weekend. While the views and most of the staff are amazing, the shuttle bus ride to the office was truly terrifying. We were scared for our life. Both drivers (on the way up and down) drove way too fast along the sharp turns on the winding road. On the way down, we passed another bus going in the opposite direction and everyone on the bus screamed as both buses got way too close on that small road. This could have ended up really bad... In my opinion only one bus should be allowed at a time and the drivers need to slow way down when driving. I had to close my eyes at one point... and didn't expect to be so scared and fear for my life on my vacation. I understand they may do this everyday and are experienced bus drivers but I didn't feel safe and I know other people felt...

Went on a Thursday and it was pretty full but not overwhelming. Not a long hike at all, there’s even an elevator to get to Devil’s Head (where the flag is), you can hike to the top or the bottom of the waterfall. We decided to just go to the bottom. Admission is $17 per adult but they have family packages. The town is very quaint, right by lake Lure, nice stores...

Hope you dont skip leg day at the gym because this is a workout! If you want the full experience, park at the lower level and climb all way up to the Devils Head, and don't forget to make your way to the waterfall as well.
