I mean I guess the best place to start is the beginning. We arrive at the restaurant, (keep in mind this is during the pandemic so things are a little weird) we walk through the door and the hostess asks us how many, and gives us a buzzer thing. (We were a party of 7) She then asked us if we wanted to sit indoors or outside. (It was literally raining on and off) We requested to sit indoors to stay out of the rain and the humidity. We wait a bit (this was fine because the rest of the party had not arrived so there was no rush) we are then called inside and they said “We have a table outside for you, is this fine?” I looked at her with complete confusion and she said “It’s covered you don’t have to worry” ( we asked to sit inside and then told we have to sit outside. I was like okay whatever I guess that’s fine) so we get seated, the table looks clean and is covered. Some time goes by and we are asked for our drinks. Three of us in the party order alcohol while the rest ordered water and sweet tea. The waiter then comes back with a few waters and a sweet tea. Time goes by and the people who originally got their drinks had already finished them by the time the guy comes back we remind him of the other beverages and he goes “Oh right” comes back with the beers and says “ I don’t know which is which, sorry.” And sets them on the table. We ordered three separate drinks so that was annoying to try and figure out which is which. He didn’t even offer to find out for us he just shrugged it off. We ordered our appetizers and our food at the same time because it took so long for them to ask for our order. We got onion rings, Jalapeño popper, fried pickles and Mozzarella Sticks. The fried pickles were fried in beer batter so that was a new thing for me. The pickles were fine but the mozzarella sticks we okay. I bit into one and I tasted dish soap! I thought I was going crazy but the next bite tasted like soap too. I waited a bit and tried a different price and there was no soap taste just a nice mozzarella stick. The cheese was very nice and melted in there. I got the Mac and cheese burger (with the Mac and cheese on the side so I could control how much was on there) I put the Mac and cheese on my burger and I tasted soap again. I tired another bite and the taste was still there. I tired the burger without the Mac and cheese and there was no soap taste. I at the Mac and cheese by itself and I tasted the soap again. (I don’t know why the cheese here’s taste like soap but it was weird the other members in my party agreed with me on the Mac and cheese so I don’t know what was wrong) My burger was okay. For a 14 dollar burger I thought it would be really good but it was like school lunch burger vibe. The fries were good but the burger really ruined my appetite. I was also incredibly thirsty and the waiter was no where to be seen for the entirety of our meal once we got our food. The restaurant was entering the closing phase as it was now time for them to close. We wanted to be polite and get out of there before they closed but our waiter was not around and we had no check. We had to ask another waitress for our check and our waiter shows up out of nowhere with one check. We were a party of 7 that all met to eat here. We were not paying one check. He then comes back with three separate checks. We payed and left but I was not satisfied with our service...

Read moreAmongst our family of 5, we ordered numerous different things. I ordered a chili hot dog. I noticed after the first bite that the chili was cold. Seemingly like it was just scooped out of one of those hot dog chili cans and spread across the top without heating it.
But, no big deal. I mentioned it to the server and she said she would send it back. Maybe 3 minutes later she returned with the same hot dog, set it on the table and left. I assumed they would just make another one considering it had the cold chili all over it but instead, they had just thrown it in the microwave for a minute or so. The bun was so hot I couldn't even pick it up. Lol
A hot dog is about as basic as it gets. If you can't get that right, and then after given a second chance, you bomb that too, you're probably not in the right business.
I tried the cheese burger as well. It was equal to one of those cheap frozen patties you get in the frozen section at your local Food Lion.
It's pretty obvious this is just one of those touristy businesses that thrive on one time visitors so they maybe don't care about the quality of the food.
Lastly, the super basic meals we all had (hot dogs, hamburgers and chicken tenders with sodas to drink) was $120. I guess touristy locations are always inherently more expensive. Go to Wendy's or Cookout before you get in town rather than...
