My daughter and I made apps here last minute, so I thought I was lucky to have found someone since we had an unplanned serious family event for the next day. My daughter had Duc he did an amazing job. Hers were medium-length acrylics with charms. They asked me if the 60$ in charms was okay bringing her total to 150. I got Theresa & I wanted a black gel manicure w/few snowflakes but no manicures were given. She came off rude, with no chit chat, no interaction unless I asked a question very cold, etc. (Just adds to uncomfortableness especially if I have to say I don't like them)Theresa then said black would chip off easier so I ended up doing black dip and got my tips cut short. I didn't like the shape of them so I built up the nerve to say I didn't like the shape and even gave her 20$ bc I felt bad for saying something. She ignored the inspo Pic. I showed her the designs I liked except the candy cane nail. Don't like it. She did it anyway. When I said this snowflake looks blurry, she said no it looks great. Also, they didn't put or offer the lotion & mini hand massage. Just 100% unhappy. While sitting next to my kid waiting for her to finish, her tech said they weren't very good and for me to tell the owner or manager. I hate saying anything bc I always feel like it's my fault or I feel bad for mentioning etc. But, I told myself I had to speak up. I said to the manager that I didn't like them, they're flat and lumpy and misshapen straight up ugly and she said "Oh that's bc of your nails, they look fine" 😡 yet another reason I don't like to say anything. Begrudgingly go to the counter they say cash 242 or card 267. I was confused. Yes, my kids were 150 but 100 for mine? They charged me for length on mine which I don't get unless their definition of length is any tip put on at all. I am also going to include a few pics of my nails previously done to show my nails aren't the issue here. Those are my 100% real nails in the other pics. I'm sick of nail places like this. Making what is supposed to make you feel good, a lil self-care pampering break into a scam just out...
Read moreThis place is a headache. Their communication is poor, just like their work. First, they don't offer any time of online sign-ups, details, etc. Their website is about as useful as the Yellow Pages. It's just random pictures of announcements and contact info. Second, when you call the store, you'd be better off talking to a wall than talking to the person on the phone. They're dry, treat you like you're a nuisance for wanting to make an appointment or ask a question about services, and the phone call is awkward. If you've decided to persevere anyway, then when you first come in, you're to sign a paper that says your name and what you're there to get done (for me, a gel removal and regular manicure). They proceeded to take me back to a pedicure chair and tub. I told them that's not what I wanted. So I got handed (more like dismissed?) to a different nail tech. She hardly spoke a word to me the entire time I was there. The paint job? A child could've done similar level work. The nails were not smooth, there was paint missing, and now, 2 days later, my paint is already chipping off. There's no reason for my nails to already look this worn not even a week in. Painting my own nails, I'm able to go at least 5 days without this level of chipping. Also, once my nail tech put me under the dryer, she just disappeared. Never saw her again. I had no idea how long I was supposed to stay there. I sat there for 15 minutes before I finally got someone's attention for how much longer I needed to be there. Their gel manicure costs the same as a regular, and that makes no sense to me. I will not be returning. Even though it's close to home, the work is not worth the money. I'm a former customer-service working, understanding millennial; I feel like I'm more understanding and patient than most. But when I'm paying for $50 service, I expect $50 service. Not $10. Pros: the place is cute and clean, they have good colors to choose from....
Read moreI just want to take the time and talk about how loving and amazing this nail salon is I have never been disappointed and I have always felt welcomed and like family. They know you by name and they also remember who your favorite is so you never feel uncomfortable they pay you with who you want each time. As I was scrolling, I happen to see a review by a woman named Wendy Martin!!!!!
If you see a review by Wendy, Martin , please disregard this review because it is simply a falsehood. This woman came in and demanded that a clearly very pregnant woman bend down to do her pedicure when the manager stepped in to explain to her that the woman was clearly very pregnant and could not do her pedicure. She threw a fit. They tried to accommodate her with another very good nail Technician and the technician worked very hard to give her what she wanted, but she upped and left mid pedicure without paying!!!!! Which I find to be completely absurd only to come back a few days later and demand the same very pregnant woman who is literally about to give birth!!! These women that work in this nail salon are hard-working mothers with children and should be treated with respect. I am an African-American woman myself, and I think that it is absolutely inappropriate to act the way that Wendy Martin acted not only did she act completely inappropriate and rude, but then decided to leave a review saying that the woman were Prejudice. When the women are completely not prejudice or racist in the slightest, and we’re trying their hardest to be accommodating, which she did not make any easier for them. In conclusion, I just want to say that do not let Wendy Martin’s falsehood of a review cause you to disregard this place. This nail salon is amazing. Gives top-tier work and deserves a fair review and chance! If I could give more...
