I was so excited to get work done here after I met a customer who flew in from New York to g a tattoo done here. I came and make an appointment with Aaron he advised me of the rules and process I told him what I wanted his response was “this would be hard to cover up” 1st thing I assume was you only cover up bad work. Then he stated he’s 200$ an hour and my tattoo will take 4-5hrs.

Then he requested that I take a moment to think about my choice of tattoo (I was confused on his job title a tattoo artist or a therapist)

I went through with the booking and scheduled my appointment. The day of my appointment I arrived an hour early So I can see the proof he was negative from the start he told me I was an hour early showed me the drawing asked me if I liked it I told him I didn’t like the boldness he stayed it was just the stencil I said okay as long as the lines blend I am fine with the drawing I will be in the waiting area waiting til our appointment time. He told me that this tattoo is a difficult tattoo to do and we may or may not get done today depending if I can take it if I show signs he will stop. I said okay this is not my 1st tattoo in that area. I asked if they had numbing cream he said we don’t just go around giving out numbing cream I said you could have it for purchase I don’t know what you can and can’t do This is not my profession. He then stated I need to appreciate his work. I was then confused and asked him to explain what that meant during our setting he then pulled up google dictionary I told him I’m aware of the definition I don’t understand why it was said. He then said I mean it as understanding then he stated that this I said okay I don’t understand where this negative energy is coming from but it’s been here since our initial conversation he said let’s walk away and regroup I decided to cancel my appointment forfeit the 100$ and write a review I see thousands of people a day I would NEVER...

My girlfriend had went in there for a memorial tattoo an had a design that she drew, an the artist that goes by the name of santi “sevens” had said that he was down to do it. He seemed very hype about it then said he had a cool idea for the guitar that was implemented in said tattoo, an he had left an came back with stuff to draw his idea. After everything was said an done, we had made a scheduled day for this tat an put 100$ down (which is non-refundable). My girlfriend an him had texted back an forth over instagram over ideas of the tattoo, in which his entire mood changed, he had completely changed her tattoo, an said he wouldn’t do it if it wasn’t his design, an had removed key parts of the main tat, saying it was “too much” an he had removed a guitar, a wing, an changed the names around on the tat, an wouldn’t implement dates, all around changed her idea, an at first he said he would charge 350$ when he first saw the idea, an then after changing it an getting rid of almost everything, the price didn’t change, he did in fact refund the 100$ but said “this is coming out of my pocket” An then proceeded to say that “no one else is going to do the the tattoo your looking for”, an had asked for the finished tattoo, but then proceeded to block my girlfriend. I do not recommend this place for the behavior of certain artist in the...

This is my fault I had a really nice tattoo artist but he threw something and I told him I didn't want block letters and he had block letters but I thought he figured that would be the best as a tattoo and it looks horrible wings look horrible everything looks horrible everybody hates it it was $356! So now I got to find somebody when I move to Salt Lake City this weekend to fix it because it's in memorandum of my brother I guess you're supposed to speak up and tell him hey you know that's not what I wanted but I had a tattoo artist on Henderson Road everybody thinks he's so great and he just totally gotten my shit because I wasn't answering his texts right away well you know I have a life besides getting a tattoo I already knew what I wanted I was just waiting for him to tell me when he was available and so that fell through so I looked this place up and they seem to be really good. I mean it did look good on paper but it wasn't as small as he drew and I just hate it so my parents so do my friends! Then he had ink all over my back and didn't wipe it off the picture he took he had wiped off some but not all of it and I sent it to my friend in Virginia and she's like why didn't he wipe the ink off of you? Oh well you live and you learn and thank God I don't have...

Over a year ago, I got a tattoo done at this shop. I originally spoke with Joey about doing it and he recommended Cheech, saying she would be the best fit. I arrived, I waited an hour for her to show me the sketch. By that time, I realized that she had not sketched anything similar to what I wanted. I waited over an hour for her to do a new sketch, which was more of what I asked for. I had a friend present with me. After the outline was finished, my friend, I and Cheech noticed the the left hand looked funny. Cheech assured me that this would be fixed by the time she finished. I'm posting both photos bc it looks worse. I didn't really look close enough until I left. I called into the shop a few times and also emailed her with no response. When you call the shop, you can't speak to your artist . Due to health reasons, I wasn't able to make it back in the shop I feel ripped and I gave her too good of a tip. I'll avoid this shop from now on. Just be aware.

I emailed Joey about getting a small owl tattoo on a Tuesday. He was very responsive and I went in the following Sunday. The atmosphere is so relaxed and the shop super clean. We listened to a Spotify playlist "Songs to Sing in the Shower" and the highlight was watching Joey Knuckles swing around a pole to "Footloose." I mean, the atmosphere in this place was so fun, we were all singing. Troy was the artist who did my tattoo and he was great! His attention to detail is fantastic and I'm very happy with my newest ink addition. I plan on going back to him, to get one of the tats on my back redone with some color. I can't say enough about my experience here. I highly recommend Sacred Hand, not just for the quality of work, but for the great environment and great personalities of the staff

Super-clean and open-layout tattoo shop with some of the friendliest people in the Columbus area. I'm already ready to come back and have Dustin fix up an old tattoo for me. I've been to High Street for my last couple of tats, but felt even more at home at Sacred Hand. We came for the "get what you get" tattoos, which at $80 (+ $10 if you want to re-draw) is almost a steal, but as I mentioned, I'll be back in the future. UPDATE: I still love Sacred Hand! GWYG tattoos are now $150 (re-draws are still $10) but it remains a bargain for a cool, random design. Spicoli and Bre are awesome!!
