Rumours Bar — Restaurant in Columbus

Having been a big fan of Fleetwood Mac and being born in Great Britain, I was excited by the potential of this bar. I had waited with baited breath for many months building it up in my mind, but "u" can't always judge a joint by a vowel. Sure the ambiance is nice and the regulars are friendly enough, but the crux of the problem lies in the modus operandi of the establishment itself. If you're a regular, you have nothing to worry about, but if your a first timer you better forget about staying any longer than a buzz. My recommendation to anyone new to this joint is to maintain an upright, 90⁰ and perpendicular to the ground, posture at all times. If you don't enunciate your words as cleary as Morgan Freeman, ya done. Your best bet is to just walk in like you're about to get a field sobriety test. I had a bit of a disagreement with the bartender, lo and behold the owner happened to be sitting next to me at the bar. If only for a fleeting moment, I had forgot I was at a bar, and felt like I had entered a meeting of the Women's Christian Temperance Union during prohibition. Long story short, this is not the bar to go to if you're looking to close the night out strong. It may be ok as your first "port of call," but if you plan to end the night here, I'd recommend stocking the fridge full of beer beforehand...

If anyone would like to partake in a bar where the owner gets drunk behind the bar while she’s working, this is definitely the bar for you. The redhead as well is/was very rude well, she continuously left the bar unattended and went to the bathroom coming back, rubbing her nose.

When I was there with my friend Group it seemed like the owner ,who greeted us as the owner, was more concerned about talking to her friends same as was Redhead then doing good service.

We heard great things about this bar and we’re very excited to come! However, We will not be back as this is supposed to be an LGBTQIA friendly bar, and we felt very ostracized.

Rumours Bar is amazing. When I first came here 2 years ago I was welcomed in with open arms. I wasn't sure what to expect. After these past 2 years of coming here this has been the most welcoming, loving, safe space that Columbus has to offer. Come see this space for yourself.
