Let’s note the issue isn’t the fact Drew didn’t want to do the tattoo. It’s how he handled the situation very poorly. He came out AGGRESSIVELY, how he presented himself as unprofessional. Raising your voice, hands and verbally attacking someone is not “Kind”. That’s a very threatening manner. Let’s also note that Drew never once politely declined, so please don’t come up with a false statement. Also, my bf only came in for clarity not intimidation. I’m actually happy drew is not doing it after that disrespectfully encounter. . I had an appointment with “Drew”. He is extremely unprofessional and I don’t recommend. To start off, he moves my appointment back TWO HOURS the day of the appointment; after it has been scheduled for a month. We talk through the consultation for him to tell me half way, “I’m not doing it” because I wanted to tweak the drawing. He tells me, “that’s not what we do here”. Do what, a consultation?
He also takes MY ORIGINAL PIECE THAT I DESIGNED and offers it “up for grabs” on his instagram a hour later for someone else to take after he kicked me out. that’s extremely PETTY and IMMATURE. He refused to work with me but gives up my idea like he came up with it. He refuses to do a consultation and got upset when I asked to tweak one more minor thing in the drawing. I don’t understand how you can be in the art industry and not take criticism well AT ALL. Also, the way he ended the service was extremely unprofessional. He comes out VERY AGGRESSIVELY, DISRESPECTFULLY and starts attacking me for wanting to tweak the drawing. Drew is extremely disrespectful, rude and immature. I’m in the service industry too and I would NEVER attack someone like that no matter the reasoning. I do not recommend Drew. His customer service skill is at an...
Read moreWhere do I begin? I was always the type of person that said to myself that I’d never get a tattoo unless there was an extreme meaning. Throughout my life, I have overcome obstacles after obstacles and I have always resonated with the Phoenix. After yet another tragedy, I decided to make the jump.
As having no idea where to start, my friend suggested Sero Tattoo Collective. I went in on a Saturday and I was so nervous, but then I met Jack and all of my nerves just faded away.
He took the time and energy to help collaborate with me the perfect tattoo that expresses my pain and suffering and how I have been able to overcome every obstacle I have faced. He is also SO kind and SO friendly. He really takes into consideration what you want. I am constantly amazed by the fine detail, coloring gradient, and the design of my tattoo. When he started working on my tattoo, I knew I was in good hands, and felt at ease. He has been doing this for THIRTY YEARS, and his art and experience really shows. This dude is an expert, and you are in good hands.
My Phoenix is also holding an arrow to that represents mental health awareness, and the need to persevere through difficulties as it symbolizes the idea of pulling back to move forward. “An arrow can only go forward by being pulled back”.
I also want to note that after he’s done with your tattoo, he doesn’t stop there. He is there with you throughout your entire experience, and is more than happy to answer all your questions.
Jack and Sero Tattoo Collective are a vibe and I...
Read moreThe first time I went to this location I thought the staff and everything was just "ok". Their prices were extremely high and nothing made them stand out from any other tattoo shop. I returned for a touch-up with the employee that had originally done my tattoo ( Evan English) and he was extremely rude and completely disrespectful. The whole time I was getting my touch up he was speaking unkindly to me and grumbling under his breath upset he had to touch up my tattoo. I have 3 other tattoos and have always gotten them touched up. When i orginally went he told me that he would of course touch up my tattoo. When I called and made an appointment he was unkind over the phone and tried to convince me out of stopping by. I have a very small VERY simple tattoo. That didn't take more than 15 minutes to do originally. The touch up took him 2 minutes and my wrist is bruised from how hard he was pressing down. It also continues to bleed. I have never had some be that rough with me while getting a tattoo or press that hard. I asked him kindly to fix some of the small shading my tattoo had and he got very rude and pretty much just made random lines over the shading that looks awful. I have never been to a place where the staff was that disrespectful. I was planning on returning for another tattoo but I will never go back...
